The Pay tab describes typical earnings and how staff in the occupation are compensated—annual salaries, hourly wages, commissions, suggestions, or bonuses. Within every occupation, earnings range by experience, responsibility, efficiency, tenure, and geographic area. For most profiles, this tab has a table with wages within the main industries using the occupation. It does not include pay for self-employed employees, agriculture workers, or employees in non-public households because these information usually are not collected by the Occupational Employment and Wage Statistics survey, the source of BLS wage information within the OOH.
