Tropical Storm Alex Looms in Mexico, Lady Gaga Storms Elton John Fund Raiser

Tropical Storm Alex Spotted in Belize and Yucatan Peninsula The first hurricane for 2010 is already looming as Tropical Storm Alex was spotted with winds reaching up to 45 mph in the Gulf of Mexico. Although the storm is not about to reach the U.S. states along the coast of the Gulf of Mexico, people are concerned about its effect to the ongoing BP oil spill cleanup.

Tropical Storm Alex is bound to do landfall in Belize and and eastern part of Mexico’s Yucatan Peninsula starting from Chetumal to Cancun. Vacationers in Cancun are advised to stay indoors so that they would not be caught up with any inconvenience that this storm is about to make from late Saturday evening until Sunday morning. Tropical Storm Alex is also bringing in a lot of rainfall so flash floods might be a possibility in some areas near the mountains.

As Mexico is bracing for a big storm, the fund raiser of Sir Elton John cooked up a storm by bringing in Lady GaGa!

Lady Gaga Falls After her fashion faux pas at the Heathrow Airport, Lady GaGa wowed the public with her bloody performance at the 12th Annual White Tie and Tiara Ball last night. The event was a benefit concert for the ELTON JOHN AIDS Foundation held at Windsor, England. Lady GaGa wowed the audience when she performed wearing only a sports bra, panties, fishnet stockings AND blood splattered all over her body. Lady GaGa helped raise 5.6 Million Euros for the foundation.

In another news, a recent study revealed that pampered and strictly brought up kids are more likely to be more alcoholic. A group of scientists at the Birmingham University conducted a study on 5,000 adolescents between 12 to 19 years old. They were asked about their drinking habits and their relationship with their parents. They have concluded that parents who maintain a good and open relationship with their kids are more likely to influence their children to refrain from drinking and smoking.

John Hoffman said “parents need to have both accountability and support in your relationship with your teens, make sure that it’s not just about controlling their behavior – you need to combine knowing how they spend their time away from home with a warm and loving relationship.” Parents it’s now up to you to lead your children in the “alcohol” free way .
