The hunky star of Twilight: New Moon is now adding a new feather to his cap via an action movie, whereby he is cast as a lad who finds out his parents are certainly not who these people appear to be.

After he determines the reason why he has experienced disconnection to his mother and father, the film undergoes a ‘Bourne’-style action. Wowza, that’s an exciting plot isn’t it?

This is just one of the most up-to-date chain of action movies Taylor Lautner has signed up to do. In fact, the 17 year olf actor is also all set to take the lead role in Universal Pictures’ latest offering ‘Stretch Armstrong’ and Paramount’s ‘Max Steel’. Seems like all is well in Taytay’s Hollywood career.

In order to make certain there exists a period for Lautner to take his role in ‘Abduction’, it was revealed via Deadline Hollywood that Lionsgate studio are scurrying to acquire the services of a director and complete the particular script soon enough before July 2010.

In another news, Taylor Lautner just celebrated his 18th birthday. That’s why, instead of promoting his latest movie ‘Valentine’s Day’, which had its UK premiere on that same day, he chose to take break from all the klieg lights to be with his loving family. Taylor revealed that he is longing to “spend time with family and friends… I don’t like to do anything huge, but it is 18, so, it’s kind of a big one I guess.”
