Nicole and Paula Gave their Nods to Join X Factor

Fox Television announced that the former Pussycat Dolls singer Nicole Scherzinger will be one of the hosts on the upcoming TV singing show “The X Factor.” On the other hand, there was also official statement that the former American Idol judge Paula Abdul has signed in as the final judge for the competition.

Fox said that Scherzinger will be co-hosting the British TV presenter Steve Jones for the said TV show. But they did not mention any appearance that may be seen from Abdul.

Paula Abdul, seen as one of the judges in a lot of seasons of American Idol, quit two years ago due to contract disputes. However, it was reported that Abdul was in final talks and negotiations with Fox for her stint as judge in the US version of X Factor, along with ex co-judge Simon Cowell, British singer Cheryl Cole, and record producer Antonio Reid.

Simon Cowell expressed his delight over Paula’s great addition to American x Factor saying that his chemistry with her is invaluable and this new show will surely be interesting with her on his side.

The TV show is actually created by Cowell, known to be an English music entrepreneur. It is expected to be aired on the fall season of 2011, having a grand prize of $5 million and an additional recording contract.

After a lackluster Live to Dance TV show stint, Paula Abdul might just get a second wind in her career by being in Simon Cowell’s side once again on the judges’ table in the US version of X Factor. The 51 year old British media mogul disclosed recently that his former American Idol judge Paula is on his final lst of recommendees in the said latest reality show.

Another female entertainer is on Simon’s bucket list too and she’s Cheryl Cole. Cole served as a British X Factor judge and Simon has only kind words to say about the former Girls Aloud group member – saying.that Cole is “smart” and an overall “great judge”. Simon Cowell opined that American audience will surely love Cheryl and the TV network FOX is doing its best to get her on the show.

What about Paula? Well, Simon shared that he truly missed the banters they had in American Idol. It’s all about chemistry, he says. There’s something interesting in the way Paula and Simon argued – not annoying but easily endearing to all television viewers. Simon is really looking forward that Paula will sign up with the deal and it’s surely a hit show in the offing, we think.

The US X Factor is still due to be shown this Fall but there has been a lot of buzz if Simon will again make a trend in American TV landscape. With his American Idol exit, TV viewers are longing for that trademark acerbic comments from Simon Cowell. Will the Simon magic work better if Paula is around?

Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens won’t be the hosts of the American version of X-Factor.

Although the prospect of Zanessa hosting a reality TV show is not a bad idea, fans are sad to hear that Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens won’t be presenting X-Factor to American TV. The rising expectations for this Simon Cowell reality show is just building up and he allegedly tapped the High School Musical lovebirds to be the hosts of his fledgling talent show.

However, the spokespersons for Zac and Vanessa cleared up that the whole story is untrue. For Vanessa, they said that no television shows are in the offing for her. Same as for Zac Efron, the couple are currently padding up their filmography as they are busy with movie projects.

Another development for Zac Efron is that his filming for the Nicholas Sparks inspired movie “The Lucky One” is nearing completion. This film invites a new look for Zac as he will try out a ruggedly handsome aura. He will play a Marine who comes back to North Carolina to search for a mysterious lady who he believes as his lucky charm while he was at war. Sadly, fans will have to wait longer to see this film as it will be released on 2012.

As Robert Pattinson is slowly inching to get another career in music, the Twilight star decided to go against the tide and snub the tempting deal from music mogul Simon Cowell. R-Pattz knows music too well as he plays guitar and piano. He explained his decline on the ex-American Idol judge’s offer as that he would not be suited for his roster of talents.

Robert Pattinson elaborated that he loves Simon Cowell and he respects him so much because “he’s a clever guy”. However, Rob suggested that: “I don’t think he could ever launch my music career”. Robert admits that he’s “selfish” with his musical talent and doesn’t think many people would like his music. Is he just being too humble?

Anyway, Robert Pattinson’s rumored girlfriend Kristen Stewart has also voiced out some experiences she had with her recent film Welcome to the Riley’s.

Kristen Stewart revealed that she actually got a real offer to be a worker in a strip club while she was filming her new movie Welcome to the Riley’s. The actress was seen to have much eagerness in doing the “troubled runaway-turned-stripper character” shtick she plays in the film. The real offer, of course, was turned down. She obviously was earning better than an actress!

Stewart explained, “It was incredibly an impactful experience.” The actress added, “But at the same time, it’s not like I was incredibly altered at the end of it. It’s hard to relate to this story, because I couldn’t have had a more different upbringing. I can’t relate to the kind of loss and weird incomplete feeling or whatever.” Moreover, Stewart tells that she had learned something from the experience — that is having the importance of self-worth and self-respect.

The actress furthermore explained, “One thing that is generally relatable and I found it as perfect for young girls — Twilight fans, actually — is the whole idea that, unless you respect and like yourself, nobody else is going to. It’s always been easy for me to do that.” She also admitted, “I hope that doesn’t sound totally arrogant, but I’ve always been lucky. For so many people, it’s so hard to do that.”

Though the character she recently played at was someone who is troubled and some other attitude like that, the actress confessed that she had really a really great time making the film. She is really proud of herself after seeing the finished product. She confessed, “I’ve totally stepped away from that — the feeling of loss and incompleteness — but my character is really funny. She further added, “As heavy as those ideas are, it was fun playing her, because she’s crazy.”

Heidi Montag seems not to be running out of gimmicks to pull off media attention. During her sojourn to the beaches of Costa Rica, her blue bikini almost lost control in holding her G-cup sized chests that it almost fell off while she was swimming off the emerald green waters.

Well, knowing Heidi and her publicity-hungry ex-husband Spencer Pratt – no harm done for the free peek at her implanted chests as what any media expert know – bad publicity is still publicity.

Husband Spencer Pratt also had his share of story to tell in Costa Rica. Spencer was arrested in Costa Rica last Saturday for illegal possession of a firearm on his way back to the United States. He was apparently booked in a local jail and was immediately released.

Spencer told his fans via his Twitter his horrible experience at the jail “Costa Rican jail smells like children’s tears and soup… if I know the government was tem Jacob, I would’ve kept my mouth shut.” When asked why he was in Costa Rica, he said that it was a part of his spiritual cleansing, he spent some time alone in the jungle reflecting on his transgression and trying to work out how can he become a better person.

He shared his hunting experience in the island – he needed to hunt to survive – that’s the reason why he has a gun. He claimed that he mistakenly brought his hunting weapons with him to the airport. He claimed it was an honest mistake and he’s sad that he was banned from the country. After his release, he’s going to continue his so called “spiritual journey.”

To a more news-worthy story, Jennifer Lopez will be one of the judges on the next season of American Idol (Season 10). While J.Lo fans are excited to see her as judge of the infamous American Idol, there are reports that J.Lo’s stint as judge on the show is being sabotage by dark forces.

According to the new report released, FOX executives believe that these rumors spreading against Lopez are made up by the show’s competitors and as well as Lopez’ competitions. They allegedly accused Lopez that she has “diva demands” before signing the contract with FOX.

The rumored demands included that Lopez demanded too much money for her fee and also insisted on a movie deal in exchange of being a judge on the show.

FOX tells that a movie is really included in the deal but this was not insisted by Lopez.

Credible sources say that the negotiations were just between Lopez and the FOX executives. The negotiations were said to be just normal going on the process. Sources from FOX said that Lopez will finally sign the contract and be named officially as “American Idol judge.”

Lopez’ team has been working on the negotiation for over a month.

After Ellen DeGeneres announced that she will not be a judge for the show anymore, rumors said that Lopez will take her place. However, Kara DioGuardi took the place of DeGeneres, and now DioGuardi is exiting the show. Finally, Lopez is in the show as judge. She will be joining Randy Jackson and Steven Tyler, who is said to be replacing Simon Cowell.

And there it goes; another chair is emptied as one of the American Idol’s jurors leave the show.

Kara DioGuardi officially stated that she is leaving the hit singing prime time competition. It has been rumored that DioGuardi was fired from the show as a juror. But this speculation has been successfully refuted in less than two months after DioGuardi released an official statement.

In Dioguardi’s statement, “I felt like I won lottery when I joined American Idol two years ago, but I feel like now is the best time to leave Idol. I am very proud to have been associated with American Idol; it has truly been an amazing experience.”

DioGuardi as a songwriter had joined Idol last 2008 as the fourth juror of the singing competition. She said that the singing competition taught her to nurture the rising talent of the new generation.

She furthermore added, “I am thankful to FOX, Fremantle Media and 19 Entertainment, as well as the cast, crew and contestants, for all they have given to me. I hope all the best for everyone on Season 10!”

DioGuardi’s co-jurors American Idol, Simon Cowell and Ellen Degeneres isn’t parting away with bad terms. The relationship between the jurors is amazingly wonderful. According to Simon Fuller, executive producer of American Idol, DoiGuardi is “one of the best songwriters in the industry. She has been passionate and committed to Idol over the last two seasons.” Fuller expressed that the whole American Idol will really miss DioGuardi on the show.

The pussycat doll Nicole Scherzinger steps in for Dannii Minogue and Cheryl Cole as X-factor judge, as Dannii is on maternity leave and Cheryl is still recovering from malaria attack.

Nicole would be on the judging panel along side Simon Cowell and Louis Walsh, the sexy pussycat doll is a guest judge in hunting Britain’s next top star. An insider revealed that Nicole promised Cheryl Cole that she would do her proud.

We would sure be watching how Nicole Scherzinger on X-Factor.

Model Naomi Campbell will testify at the war crimes trial of former Liberian president Charles Taylor. Taylor who is accused of supporting the rebels in Sierra Leone’s 11-year civil war in exchange for diamonds and other natural resources.

Which Charles Taylor denies trading in the so-called “blood diamonds.” Prosecutors at Taylor’s trial in The Hague have summoned Campbell to testify later this month.

Reports tells that Noami received diamonds from Taylor during a 1997 reception in South Africa. An Outside Organization, a public relations company that represents Naomi had announced that Campbell would testify which is scheduled on on July 29.

Charice To Invade Glee Next Season, American Idol Lowers Age Limit

Rejoice to all Charice fans! it is official, Charice will be joining the cast of Glee on its next season. It was rumored before according to her manager that Charice will be joining Glee but Charice instantly tweeted dismissing the statement was not true.

According to Entertainment Weekly and Charice website, that she is ‘signed, sealed, and delivered delivered to recur next season as a foreign exchange student whose killer vocals’ and will rival those of Rachel’s (Lea Michele).

We sure can’t wait for the next season to start. Do you think Glee season 2 will be more exciting as Charice joins in?

American Idol suffers from ratings this past season and with Simon Cowell gone, we think the show is in trouble. The show producers do think the same way for they are trying to do anything to re-vamp the show and keep it relevant.

According to NY magazine the age limit is 15-16 years old, in their report an executive producer of the show stated:

“A lot of young, talented people are now seeking careers and representation before they turn 16. Lowering the age limit allows us to tap into this talent pool.”

Is American Idol looking the likes of Justin Bieber or Greyson Chance? We hope the producers would come up with a better plan. Do you think American Idol is still relevant if it showcase ages of 15-16?

Just hours after the American Idol Season 9 winner was proclaimed, Lee DeWyze and runner-up Crystal Bowersox got their pens and inked their first major record deals. That was so fast and to think critics are saying that Season 9 was the most lackluster of all and the finals night ratings were just average!

Maybe people are really just at glum because of Simon Cowell’s departure from the show. Yet, despite the dark clouds that hover the slow demise of the famous reality TV show, investors are still confident that Lee and Crystal will be successful recording artists in the future.

Billboard magazine informed that Lee DeWyze got a deal signing with to 19 Recordings Limited and RCA Records. Meanwhile, the 24 year old single mom Crystal Bowersox scored two contracts likewise – from 19 Recordings and Jive Records. It was still not laid bare when the actual dates their albums will be unleashed in the market but it is predicted that Lee and Crystal will be promoting them by late November 2010.

Are you still astounded why Lee DeWyze won? We correctly predicted the winner hours before the show as we trusted the instincts of DialIdol.com – and we weren’t disappointed. Crystal Bowersox fans accuse that teenage girls defined the votes for Lee. Oh well, we are still confident that Crystal will have Herculean opportunities after this. You do’nt have to be an American Idol winner to make it big – look at Jennifer Hudson, Chris Daughtry and Adam Lambert. So hold your head up high, Crystal!

Lee Dewyze Wins American Idol 2010!

That’s according to Dial Idol (Dialidol.com)! Lee Dewyze has a wide lead based on the percentages of busy tones Dialidol got – 12.008 percent compared to Crystal Bowersox‘s 7.687! Dial Idol prides that they have been right most of the time so they are vouching their credibility that the 23 year old clerk from Mount Prospect Illinois will bag the most coveted singing title this year!

Yet, we wouldn’t diminish Crystal Bowersox of possibly snatching the American Idol 2010 trophy. This 24 year single mom who could rock out so bad that the usually-bitter Simon Cowell loved her! She’s always been a consistently good performer throughout the competition and it’s quite surprising if a ‘dark horse’ like Lee DeWyze would be chosen by America instead of her.

Nevertheless, it’s still anyone’s game right now. We will not know who will win American Idol 2010 until Ryan Seacrest opens that magical envelope to reveal who captured more hearts (and votes) in America. Everyone in the world will be glued to their TV sets to witness who is the last one voted out too. Will tears fall or will the crowd cheer for the winner? Let’s just all wait for it tonight. We’re excited to know too!
