Quentin Tarantino Bent on Working with Lady Gaga

Everything with Lady Gaga is a performance. From her videos, concerts, and even guestings, to just an airport walk, she walks in with a 12-inch heel boots and goes out in full costume. So, it is no longer a surprise if a director, specifically ‘Inglourious Basterds’ director Quentin Tarantino, has so much faith in the capabilities of the “Born this Way” singer, Lady Gaga. And because of that, he wants her to be a part of his upcoming film.

Tarantino and Gaga both attended Cannes Film Festival at Cannes, France where Lady Gaga performed for a star-studded crowd which included Tarantino, Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, Johnny Depp, Uma Thurman and Kanye West.

According to a source close to Tarantino who tells the Daily Mail, “It’s no secret Quentin’s been eyeing up Gaga for a role in one of his up-and-coming films.” And now that they are both in Cannes, Tarantino is keen to show off his movie star credentials and may ask Gaga to be part of his next film or films.

But whether he’s eyeing Gaga for a part in his next feature, the details of his future works are still unknown. However, recently he has announced ‘Django Unchained,’ starring Will Smith, but did not give further information.

The two are said to be old friends. The director got knew the pop star when he lent the singer the “P***y Wagon” truck used in his ‘Kill Bill’ films for her ‘Telephone’ video last year.

Every week, the American Idol finalists get to have someone to teach them on their singing techniques and improve their performance as they get nearer to the finals. This week, rumors have been spreading that the American Idol is going Lady GaGa. Yes, the remaining four finalists of American Idol gets to have top notch tips on how to develop as real performers from the performer itself, their newest mentor, Lady Gaga.

Ryan Seacrest, the host of the show, announced the news through his twitter account after the Friday Night’s Elimination, “I only have one word for our mentor on American Idol next week………. Gaga.”

The news was confirmed by Entertainment Weekly through FOX. The 25-year old pop phenomenon, Lady Gaga will be giving out advices as the top contestants belt out top hits from Jerry Leiber and Mike Stoller. Leiber and Stroller are known for Elvis Presley’s famous songs like Jailhouse Rock and Hound Dog.

These days, Gaga garners comparisons to Madonna and David Bowie. However, it is undeniable that the lady singer has made its name just the way she’s born. Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta, or Lady Gaga as popularly known is an American pop singer and songwriter who became famous all over the world with singles like ”Just Dance” and “Poker Face”.

Gaga’s second studio album and third major release Born This Way will be out music stores on May 23, 2011. She announced the album’s title during her acceptance speech for Video of the Year at the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards.

The remaining four Idol finalists are namely James Durbin, Lauren Alaina, Scotty McCreery and Haley Reinhart. Unluckily, it was the guy from Santa Cruz who got booted out. An early favorite, James Durbin has been called as the Adam Lambert incarnate, but that did not propel him to Top Two obviously. So long James!

Not fascinating enough for Barbara Walters? Yet Lady Gaga still dominates it all as she still is clearly one of the pop icons to beat in 2010. Billboard magazine endowed her the honor of being the Artist of the Year – together with country singer Taylor Swift.

Aside from that, the famous wax museum Madame Tussauds introduced, not just one, but eight wax figures in her honor. Madame Tussauds is famous for immortalizing celebrity look-alikes through their wax sculptures.

After signing a deal for the new series of perfume fragrances of Gaga for Coty Inc. and other businesses, Lady Gaga is the most talked about in showbiz for 2010. From her songs, videos, and even her fashion style, she’s always catching the attention from the public.

After series of rumors and controversies, as well as praises, Gaga is now interested in having a cameo role in the US crime series CSI. According to the report, Gaga wants to be seen in CSI, a cameo role will do for her.

It was also in CSI were Justin Bieber and John Mayer did their cameo roles. It seems that Gaga also wants to follow the acting skills of the two singers who appeared on one of the episodes of the TV series Crime Scene Investigation.

According to CSI star Eva La Rue explained that Gaga has been watching CSI and is a fan of the show. Gaga also wants to see herself being in a crime scene area even just for the show. According to Gaga, “I want to play a part in it.” Gaga wants to appear in the show badly and is already insisting for the deal.

Eva La Rue stated, “I don’t know if we’re going to get her or not, but it would be awesome!” According to what Eva has heard on Gaga’s side, the pop singer doesn’t want to play as Gaga in the show, but as somebody else, she wants to be a character in the show.

Lady Gaga is leaving Twitter temporarily for charity.

With 7 million fans under her Twitter belt, Lady Gaga, among other Hollywood celebs, are joining a quitting bandwagon of using the famous micro-blogging site. This idea was initiated by fellow singer Alicia Keys, who encouraged stars to quit Twitter until they get people to donate $1 million to KeepAChildAlive.org.

Gladly, Justin Timberlake, Kim and Khloe Kardashians, Ryan Seacrest and Lady Gaga heeded to her calls to support the charity that aids children in Africa affected by HIV/AIDS. According to BBC, Alicia Keys is making a huge statement with this as “such a direct and instantly emotional way… to get people to pay attention.”

When will Mel Gibson and Oksana Grigorieva stop hogging headlines?

It has always been Mel Gibson’s side that is heard in reports. But Oksana Grigorieva, Gibson’s former lover, is now speaking out about what happened to their failed relationship, especially on her claims that Gibson has been “hating” her within the timeframe of their relationship.

In an interview, Grigorieva explained in all details the argument she and Gibson had while Grigorieva is holding their baby Lucia.

According to Grigorieva’s statement, “I thought he would kill me.” Gibson refused to comment on Grigorieva’s story and just disputed his former lover’s account through a close friend. The source that was close to Gibson explained that the actor just “intervened when Grigorieva was shaking their baby.”

Also, Grigorieva disclosed that Gibson “often flew into jealous rages, talked about suicide and once brandished a gun in front of her.” The Russian-born Grigorieva also talked about why she had recorded Gibson’s angry phone calls. She explained, “I needed to document his threats.” But she denies that she’s the one responsible for leaking those recorded phone calls to the public. The recorded tapes were not used for the purpose of extorting Gibson. It was just for, according to Grigorieva, her personal safety.

While this is the case, Grigorieva clarifies that she is not angry at Gibson. She explained, “For the sake of Lucia, I really want him to be well. He has to have the courage to be responsible for what he’s done.”

Lady Gaga as a future restaurant magnate?

Lady Gaga has invested in an upscale restaurant in New York.

“Bad Romance” may have worked for Lady Gaga but definitely she would find “bad food” unacceptable. So it’s a wise business move for her to decide on being a part-owner of Vince & Eddie’s, a plush restaurant located at the Upper West side in Manhattan.

Catering to mostly high end customers, Vince & Eddie’s serve delectable New American cuisine. Lady Gaga is very ecstatic with this new venture and she revealed: “I am thrilled on making menu suggestions. Some dishes may have to display some Lady Gaga touch to it.”

Actually, it was her folks who first became shareholders of the said establishment in 1989. Now, Lady Gaga is taking over their participation in it, though as “silent partner” because she’s busy with her music career. But, how serious is Lady Gaga about this new venture? She said: “I am considering restaurant business as a career fallback now. It’s definitely on my list.”

Lady Gaga fans who might want to catch her can head over to Vince & Eddie’s because she comes here often to “taste test” their hearty meals. Her mom Cynthia Germanotta shared the tip – the 24 year old pop diva comes to the place during her free time.

Meanwhile, Lady Gaga is proud to announce that her “Born This Way” album is nearing consummation. She had announced through her official Twitter account that the project is “almost perfect”. Although Lady Gaga is on tour in Europe until Christmas, she is still fervently working on her album’s release next year. We’re guessing fans are already on the lookout for the new edgy songs Lady Gaga has in store for them.

MTV Europe Music Awards love Lady GaGa and Justin Bieber

Europe loves Lady GaGa, Katy Perry and even Justin Bieber!

Lady Gaga once again ruled the music awards. In the recently concluded MTV Europe Awards, the one and the only Lady Gaga has once again picked up the top European awards, along with Katy Perry and Canadian teen idol Justin Bieber.

The US monster queen received her awards for best female artist, best pop act and best song for “Bad Romance.” She received her awards from a stage in the Hungarian capital Budapest where she performed with a jam-packed concert-like audience.

Upon receiving her awards, Lady Gaga expressed, “This means so much to me – Europe I love you.” And as what everyone expected, Lady Gaga switched get-ups from a giant-shouldered purple jacket with spangled shades, to a leopard-skin bodice. Her last outfit was a see-thru nurse outfit which her fans were really amused upon witnessing.

The Canadian teen idol Justin Bieber received his award as best male act at the awards ceremony, which was voted by 46 million people who was hosted live by Eva Longoria of “The Desperate Housewives.” Bieber revealed, “It’s a big achievement for me. All the other artists in this category are such an inspiration.” Eminem and Kanye West are some of Bieber’s biggest rival in the category.

Katy Perry, who was nominated five times like Lady Gaga, received the best video award for “California Girls.”

A special award was given to Shakira, the “Free Your Mind Award,” for having social responsibility in campaigning for education for disadvantaged children through using the proceeds of her “Waka Waka” World Cup anthem.

Previously on People magazine, Demi Lovato said that she has already learned her lesson in life and she said that she will work hard to keep her relationships more private in the future. It seems that she was shocked of the media frenzy that happened to her after their breakup which she said is hard. It’s unfair because she was the only asked about the break-up: “why don’t they ask Joe the same questions they’re asking me?” She added next time she’ll try to keep it a secret – “maybe keep it a secret.”

Demi Lovato also defended Joe Jonas’ reputation as people started to call him “Mr. Heart Breaker” after their split. She said “I know that he has the best intentions and definitely most guys don’t have the same intentions that he does.” Here’s their duet in Mexico City:

In another news, the lady has triumphed against the boy. Lady GaGa emerged as the winner in a Youtube race to have the most views on her videos in the said video sharing site. She garnered 1,002,734,757 views against Justin Bieber’s 967 million views. On a single video, however, Justin Bieber still is king – as his “Baby” music video remains unmatched with its 367,025,87 views.

A lot of blessing that Stefani Germanotta has received lately. In fact, she has officially moved to her six bedroom house in the Hollywood Hills. GaGa’s real estate agent Chad Rogers refused to give details about GaGa’s new property.

Rogers only said that it was the perfect house for Germanotta: “It’s a very interesting house – it’s a mixture of styles, everything from contemporary to Mediterranean, it’s has a very eclectic vibe.” Yeah, we agree it suits Lady GaGa! We wonder if she’ll live there with Luc and if they had already patched things up.

All of her blessings lately, Lady GaGa owes it up to her fans. In fact, with her Youtube feat, she thanked them and told her fans that they are the real “kings and queens of Youtube”. She tweeted: “we reached one billion views on YouTube little monsters… If we stick together we can do anything”.

Velasquez took advantage of the “tired” Brock Lesnar and the referee put the fight to a halt at the clock reading at 4:12 – where Lesnar became “bloodied”. No doubt, it was Velasquez who dominated the round so he brings home the bacon!

Teen heartthrob Justin Bieber is on a tight battle with Poker Face singer Lady GaGa! They are both vying for the “one billion views” slot on their videos in the hosting site YouTube. So are you team GaGa of team Bieber?

According to the latest Billboard statistics, Lady GaGa will be able to reach her one million mark last October 20 – if her fans will continue to with their 1.8 million views per day, Justin Bieber has to work double time so he can beat Lady GaGa – according to the report, he’s about to reach his one billion mark by November 1, that’s if his fans continue with their 3.7 million views per day.

Bieber’s “Baby” single has the most viewed clip tag on YouTube, with around 345 million views as of the moment and Lady GaGa’s Bad Romance is on the second place with 288 million hits. Who do you think will win this race? I don’t think Bieber would mind losing in that game, according to the recent reports, Justin Bieber is the world’s highest-earning teenage singer! In 2009 Justin earned a whopping $300,000 for his “One Time” single! WOW! He earns more than 3 times more than Selena Gomez! No wonder girls are going crazy over him, a rich and very talented kid.

Lady GaGa is not resting her laurels after being chosen to be the Creative Director for Polaroid. The pop singer is currently looking on a new career – Lady GaGa for President?

After her MTV Video Music Awards domination, Lady GaGa has shifted her mind on political pursuits, in particular she wants the senators to overturn the “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” policy which was created in 1993. The said policy “prohibits openly gay men and women from serving in the military.”
Since then 14,000 Americans have been refused from the military, discharged from the service, and sent home regardless of how valuable they are in their units. Lady GaGa has posted a campaign video via her Twitter asking her 6 million followers to persuade the U.S. Senate to countermand the said policy next week.

GaGa urged the senators to support Senator Harry Reid and Carl Levin to repeal the DADT, and to oppose Republican Senator John McCain’s plan to “hijack the Don’t Ask Don’t Tell vote with a filibuster (a way of delaying the lawmakers’ debate), she also urged her fellow Americans to contact their legislators and ask them to repeal the said policy. Lady GaGa has expressed her desire to help the men and women in uniform when she asked her to walk with them at the VMA White Carpet.

Definitely, this year’s MTV Video Music Awards is a blast! Well, for someone like Lady Gaga.

Lady Gaga led the winner’s circle of the 27th annual MTV VMAs. She has under her belt a female record of eight out of eleven categories where she was nominated. This includes Video of the Year, “Bad Romance” which was criticized for its unwholesome concept. But nevertheless, Lady Gaga is still the winner despite all the criticisms.

In her acceptance speech, Gaga expressed, “God bless pop music and God bless MTV.” Also, the Lady GaGa meat dress has invited controversy for her in making a statement that she is no meat that is why she wore that outfit that caught media attention. For those who don’t know, that meat used was real, which designer Franco Fernandez got from their family butcher from Argentina.

As for Lady GaGa’s presidential aspirations, we hope she won’t promote wearing that outfit because health experts suggest that it might cause E.coli infection!

Now, his brother-in-law Casey Affleck admitted that we all got punked. Yes, it was all for the play and the documentary film about Joaquin Phoenix is a big, fat hoax.

Casey Affleck, who directed the Joaquin Phoenix documentary entitled I’m Still Here, finally spilled the real juice on the matter. In an interview with the New York Times, Affleck chuckled: “It’s a terrific performance, it’s the performance of his career.” In the film, Joaquin was shown to engage in bizarre things like looking for call girls in the Internet, vomiting and stage-diving to clobber a heckler. Now, Casey is telling us that none of those things are real. It was all an act.

Joaquin Phoenix will be talking all about the hoax on the David Letterman Show. Should he be prepared when someone might throw tomatoes at him for all the lies?

In another story, Lady Gaga got another title under her name – The Queen of Twitter. The mother monster, Lady Gaga, has been followed by her millions of fans on Twitter leaving behind Britney Spears and other co-leagues.

Lady Gaga outdid Britney Spears just last month as the most followed user in the social networking site Twitter. The pop supernova garnered has now over 6.33 million followers, while Britney currently has 5.9 million.

After Gaga knew that she has already dominated the social networking
site, she posted a message expressing her immense gratitude to all who made it possible – to her fans. She posted a video online that proves her “monstrous” love and appreciation to all her fans. It just shows that even with the digital media, she is still dominating.

Gaga tweeted, “Hello world, this is Lady Gaga, queen of Twitter. I want to thank all my beautiful little monsters for following me. Thank you for beginning my reign as Twitter queen.” She further added Gaga-ishly, “may you always have soft cuticles while tweeting.”

Lady Gaga, who is still hyped with her latest song “Alejandro,” guaranteed her little followers to lessen her Twitter nonsense. She even tweeted that she will “never partake in celebrity online shenanigans.” And she promised her followers that she will “always tweet and tweet again.”
