Jersey Shore’s Ronnie Ortiz-Magro Got Busted, Expendable’s $35M Debut

Ronnie Ortiz -Magro was taken into police custody in Seaside Heights, N.J., Sunday and placed under arrest. The Jersey shore cast was escorted to the station by police officers Sunday afternoon, due to outstanding warrants that involves unpaid parking ticket including two other New Jersey communities, the Associated Press report.

In 2009 Ronnie was also arrested after the Seaside Heights boardwalk brawl was then processed and later released. It’s a bit disturbing that some cast of Jersey Shore have gotten into trouble with authorities two weeks ago Snooki was also arrested for disorderly conduct.

The power house cast of ’Expendable’s’ hit it big with a $35 million on its debut, the 1980′s style action pack movie soared high as it was jammed pack by actions stars such as Jet Li, Jason Statham and of course Sylvester Stallone.

Not to mention the cameos of Bruce Willis and Arnold Schwarzenegger, Expendable’s is a tale of a mercenaries aiming to overthrown a dictator. The Expendable’s sure was not overthrown by being no. 1, men sure did aim to watch the movie, but on the other hand women satisfied themselves with the movie of Julia Robert’s “Eat love and Pray”.

Julia Roberts hasn’t made a movie for quite some time that could hit the charts. And it’s been a while since she made one where she can play the role that people wanted her to do. Her new movie Eat Pray Love is expected to dominate the theaters or at least contend for the top one or two spots on its showing date on Friday, August 13.

Roberts has done a lot of movies where her expertise in acting was revealed. She played roles where the whole world was against her like in Erin Brockovich and The Pelican Brief. She as well did comedies like Notting Hill. And her new movie now is a combination of the two that’s why people will love to see her.

Not only that! She never demanded about her salary for the said movie. She reportedly earned $20 million for Erin Brockovich, Mona Lisa Smile, and The Pelican Brief. The amount is twice of what she’s supposed to get from doing Eat Pray Love.

So analysts said that Roberts has picked the right material for her come back. And now, Kristen Stewart is being compared to Roberts. They said that Kristen still has a long way to go before she can totally achieve stardom like Roberts.

Well, Julia Roberts is already Julia Roberts before Kristen Stewart came to the big screen. And besides, Kristen is still on her way to find her niche in Hollywood. Let’s just give everybody a fair chance.

Selena Gomez Breaking Away from Good Girl Image?

Selena Gomez finally broke her silence at the Teen Choice Awards. The 17 year old singer-actress was asked as to what she can say to her critics that she’s going to be the “good girl” of Disney and that teens would soon get bored of her wholesome image. Being called a good girl is not bad at all – but it can really be boring. Who would want to watch a good girl forever?

There are lots of things that Selena Gomez needs to consider before breaking her good girl image – she might lose her fans like what happened to Miley Cyrus.

Well, she said that she’s planning to do an action film like what her idol Sandra Bullock did or she can do a political drama like Julia Roberts or she can do adult comedy movies. She already did Wizards of Waverly Place so she’s pretty sure she can do comedy and the last thing she can do is to date around.

Yes, Selena Gomez said that she’s not yet ready but what’s wrong with exploring? You’re not going to get married right away – you need to enjoy your teenage years and meet wonderful and crappy guys – that’s part of life. If she follows anyone of these things she’s going to be safe – she should get rid of following on the girls gone wild route.

Julia Roberts has been one of the most sought after actresses in Hollywood. It seems that her face never changes despite age and her being devoid from any surgery.

The 42-year old actress said that she would not want herself to undergo Botox because she is not much into cosmetic surgery. She thinks that the world is unfortunate because of the cosmetic surgery we have nowadays. People won’t have the chance anymore to see how they would look like when they get old.

Roberts’ outlook might not be that appealing to some Hollywood actors. Actors over 40 think that they have to undergo certain cosmetic surgery to maintain their career. Cosmetic surgeons in Hollywood revealed that nearly every older actor has used Botox or actual surgery.

Roberts has this certain idea about Botox and surgery because she wants to set as an example to her children. She wants them to know when she is mad, happy or anything what her face tells that might be impossible with Botox.

Well, Julia Roberts has been very popular in Hollywood for a long time already without undergoing any major surgery. So that means that she doesn’t need any just to maintain her status.

In related news, Filipina singing sensation Charice is now denying that her Botox procedure was meant for cosmetic purposes. This was after reports spread that the 18 year old singer did this cosmetic enhancement so that she would look “fresh” when she will appear in the hit U.S. TV show Glee.

Now, the publicists handling Charice insist that the singer had Botox in order to ease her “muscle pains”. If you still don’t know, Botox is currently used for patients who have muscle spasms and migraines.
Oh well, it’s kind of weird if Charice have migraines in her cheek or she has muscle spasms there. The Botox was injected in her cheeks, FYI! Obviously, these reps are trying to cover up the media spectacle brought about by the cosmetic treatment Charice received.

Pretty Woman Julia Roberts is now helping Lancome promote their new éfinicils Precious Cells Amplifying Mascara by appearing on this new ad for the well-known French beauty brand.

Julia looked so gorgeous as People was able to get the very exclusive behind the scene shots of the photo shoot last winter which was taken by photographer Mario Testino.

Ladies, expect this ad campaign to come out next month!

And speaking of August, Julia Robert’s much awaited flick — Eat, Pray, Love — is rescheduled to be released in August 13, 2010. It was supposed to have been released already in June. Oh well, we don’t really mind. We will wait for Julia’s movie whatever it takes! Julia will be playing as a divorced woman who got an epiphany and decides to travel the world. I bet a lot pf other women would want some of that!

Eat, Pray, Love is based on the best-selling book by Elizabeth Gilbert. Be sure to check it out!

And speaking of movies, two other hot ladies are starring in their own flicks as well. The 29-year old Christina Aguilera is starring in Burlesque, a sexy and sensual film about the art of teasing and dancing. I bet a lot of men will want to see Christina bare more skin than usual. Or do you? Of the movie, Christina said:

“The whole idea of burlesque has always intrigued me. The art of the tease, the dance, beautiful women — need I say more?”

Yes please! Christina enthused that:

It wasn’t just a girl who comes to L.A. and makes it big. It was a girl who had suffered and felt pain, been in seven foster homes. She doesn’t let her past make her a victim. And that to me was so appealing.

On a more wholesome note, Warner Bros. Pictures has just released the official poster of Drew Barrymore’s upcoming romantic comedy flick Going the Distance. Justin Long will be co-starring the beautiful actress in this comedy. I think they look together in this movie and I couldn’t wait to watch it.

Going the Distance is a movie about a couple that tries their luck at long distance relationships from New York to San Francisco! Talk about being at the opposite side of the country!

This movie is set to be released on August 27 so watch out for it. Looks like August will be another movie month! prepare your movie passes people!

Emma Roberts Wished to be in Pop Tarts Commercial

To be an actress was not in her original plans, this was what Emma Roberts admitted recently as she originally targeted to be a commercial model when she was a kid. And the product? The kiddie breakfast pastries called Pop Tarts, manufactured by the Kellogg Company. Emma beamed that she always dreamed to be in the Pop Tarts commercial.

Although Emma had already starred in various Hollywood films, her kiddie dreams continue to haunt her. The “4.3.2.1″ actress informed that when she was a child the Pop Tarts commercial are the “coolest” thing on television. She can’t stop pretending to be gobbling those yummy sweet treats! Thankfully, Emma got over it and as the niece of the ever famous Julia Roberts – Emma would want to avoid sweets because she has to maintain a whistlebait figure.

The 19 year old budding actress also exposed that she can still blend well with the crowd, without the fear of being harassed by paparazzi or raving mad fans. However, Emma Roberts revealed that children are the ones who recognize her often. Emma also recounted her weird experience in London:

When I did ‘Wild Child’, there were ads in London on the side of buses. I was crossing the street and they drive on the other side to the States, so I’m looking the wrong way and step onto the road. My friend grabs me and pulls me back.

My face goes by on the bus and she goes, ‘You just almost got killed by your own bus. That would have been so embarrassing.’

Well, next time, watch your step. Emma Roberts should get in touch with things around her, especially with Robert Pattinson fans who are sharpening their pitchforks for her because she revealed that she prefers to be in “Team Jacob”. That’s scary!

The 19-year old fantastic actress donned a “Giovanna” tunic by Temperley London and carried a Rene Caovilla clutch during the premiere. She looked so elegant in it! I can’t believe Julia Robert’s niece has now bloomed into such a beautiful young woman, naturally, just like her aunt.See their Mona Lisa smile is just so similar!

Her new movie, 4.3.2.1, is a thriller, which tells the story of four beautiful young women whose lives intersect after their encounter with diamond thieves which happened within three days,in two cities.

Robert Pattinson made the list for the ‘People Most Beautiful 2010′. Along with him is the Tween Pop Sensation Justin Bieber.

The vampire looks and charm of Edward Cullen’s, Rob’s character in Twilight together with his signature messy hair are one of the many factors that landed him on that list. Kristen Stewart made it in the list too, with Jennifer Aniston, Jennifer Garner, Scarlett Johansson and Julia Roberts who was named four times.

The actors that made the list are Johnny Depp, Ryan Reynold, Patrick Dempsey and Kevin Mckidd.

Julia Roberts Reunited with ‘Pretty Woman’ Crew

For Julia Roberts, her new movie Valentine’s Day is not like any other film she had made. In fact, it is a sweet venue to be reunited with the crew she had work with on her first hit movie ‘Pretty Woman’. Julia Roberts could not hide her thrill working with them again after 10 years. Incidentally, they all worked together in ‘Runaway Bride’ too, which was also directed by Garry Marshall.

The 42 year old ‘Mona Lisa Smile’ actress informed that she is beyond pleased to see them again. Especially Marshall, who had been there in the highlights of her career as an actress. Julia mentioned that: “‘We had a lot of ‘Pretty Woman’ people on the set. Our Director of Photography, Chuck Minsky, shot ‘Pretty Woman’ and our prop department was the same.” She even joked that nothing has really change but they “all gotten 20 years older” and they seem to reunite every ten years.”‘We did ‘Pretty Woman’, and then, ten years later, we did ‘Runaway Bride’, and then, ten years later we did ‘Valentine’s Day’. So, I will see all of you again when I’m 51.”

Julia Roberts, unfortunately, lamented that there wouldn’t be a sequel to ‘Pretty Woman’ anymore beacuse nobody would want to see an “old hooker” on screen, she joked.

Valentine’s Day, which will be shown over the weekend, is expected to do good in the box office. It has an all-star cast, which includes Julia Roberts, Bradley Cooper, Jessica Alba, Jessica Biel, Jamie Foxx and more. It even features the first on-screen team up of Taylor Swift and Taylor Lautner. Guess everyone will be watching it to see all these stars!
