New Year’s Eve Salvo – Lady Gaga Teases Big Announcement

Pop icon Lady Gaga girds for a big announcement on New Year’s Eve.

Twitter fans of Lady Gaga are infinitely excited about what the 24 year old singer has in store for them in 2011. Most of Lady Gaga followers are predicting that the announcement pertains to her upcoming album entitled “Born This Way”. Maybe, she will be unveiling the album cover via her Twitter account.

Anyway, Gaga has been very vocal about her dedication in completing “Born This Way”. She says the new record is a marriage of several music genres. Also, the Monster Queen Lady Gaga will have another step up her high-rising career. Lady Gaga will be having collaboration with Sir Elton John next year.

The two singers had recorded a duet for an upcoming Disney film which has a working title “Gnomeo and Juliet.” From the title of the film, it seems that the duet will be anticipated by each of the fans of the two singers.

Sir Elton John was the first to publicly announced that he and Lady Gaga will be collaborating a song for the Disney film “Gnomeo and Juliet.” The singer spilled the news in an interview on “The View” just this week. Though this was not the first time that the two singers are teaming up for a song. They were first seen singing together at a music awards, where Sir Elton sang Lady Gaga’s song, and Lady Gaga sang Elton’s songs.

The music track is titled “Hello, Hello.” Speculations are spreading that this will be the original soundtrack of the “Gnomeo and Juliet” film, but none from the people of Disney has confirmed this. The song was produced by Elton John himself and his partner David Furnish.

The song is now tagged as the “charming pop track” in all of the songs for the film. This charming pop track will be playing in the event when the two leading animated actors, lawn ornaments named Gnomeo and Juliet, meet for the first time. The film is set up to be premiering on February 11, 2011.

The character Gnomeo will be voiced by Scotsman James McAvoy, and Juliet will be voiced by English actress Emily Blunt. The film is about “two smitten garden gnomes whose romance is put to the test as they become caught up in a fracas between neighbors.”

Kristen Stewart ‘Wanted’, Taylor Swift Such a Starlight

Rumors has it that Kristen Stewart will be step in Angelina Jolie’s shoes for the sequel of ‘Wanted 2′. On her interview with MTV News, Kristen said:

“Yes. Definitely, as long as it was good, ‘Wanted’ was a great movie – James McAvoy makes that movie different than most other action movies because he’s a real guy, and I feel like most action movies don’t have that.”

K-Stew told MTV news she is officially set for two new projects at the moment.

“It’s weird to answer questions like this. The only two projects that I’m confirmed in now are ‘On The Road’ and ‘Breaking Dawn’ 1 and 2.”

If K-Stew would land the role on ‘Wanted’ sequel, do you think she had the edge for an action-thriller movie?

On the other news Taylor Swift received the Hal David Starlight Award, which pays tribute to young songwriters with promise.

Mayer Swift friend and collaborator said:

“You could put her in a time machine in any era and she would have a hit record,” he said, adding this about her incredible success: “Don’t confuse everybody loving one thing as hype. Sometimes that’s everyone agreeing that it’s fabulous.”

Kristen Stewart is unstoppable and hot banging the #6 spot on FHM 100 Sexiest Woman in the World ’10. Now she is being pursed to follow Angelina Jolie’s footstep as the female lead for the movie sequel of ‘Wanted’.

Kristen sure got the notch higher for her career, ever since she started to play ‘Bella’ in the phenomenon ‘Twilight Saga’. Starring alongside James McAvoy, her character in wanted would be a young ass-kicking assassin in the Fraternity. Since Angelina’s character died on the first movie, her character was to be revived for the next sequel but reports say Angelina declined for the role.

Kristen is set to start filming the last sequel for ‘Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn’ as early as October, and the Wanted Sequel is set to start filming by August. Kristen would sure be one busy girl.
