Beyonce pushing for new music genre, American Idol ditching top 24 format

Beyonce and her new music genre - American Idol changing formats

American Idol would not choose their Top 24 anymore.

This was confirmed by American Idol producer Nigel Lythgoe who said that different challenges will be seen in the next season of American Idol 10 which will launch in January 2011. Challenges will include an awards show performance and a music video production to replace the Top 24 sings-off.

Going straight to the Top 12 cut, Nigel believed that the “bore factor” will be minimized and the wannabe music stars will have less melodramatic outbursts. We are certainly interested to see these changes plus the new judges Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler.

Beyonce is trailblazing a new music genre.

Following her establishment of Sasha Fierce as her chosen character, now the 29 year old diva is pushing her limits to develop her very own music genre.

Beyonce explained that she wants to dance, she enjoys singing and she is an artist actually inside the studio writing songs and producing. Armed with a lot of live instruments, Beyonce is playing into the tracks to attempt to customize the sound and produce her own personal genre of music.

Two months ago, one of many musicians mixed up in studio project, Ne-Yo, supported Beyonce in concocting her new agenda. Ne-Yo added that she actually is an artist who provides an obvious vision of what she would like to perform. Beyonce needs to create music that is up to what changes of image she likes to portray.

There’s no hint about how precisely this “new genre” of music will sound like. Sean Garrett believes that they will be performing a wide range of uptempo records due to this novel idea. Beyonce is in this particular great place at this moment of her life and that she is considering making party music that would cater the youth market.

Although information on the said album is still very tight, Beyonce is certainly ditching her alter ego Sasha Fierce within the untitled album. Beyonce admonished: “Sasha Fierce is complete. I killed her. She continued that she does not need Sasha Fierce anymore because she had grown and she’s bound to merge her music and her true personality.

Pop singer Beyonce Knowles celebrated her 29th birthday with a bang!

The ‘Halo’ singer got 2 surprises, first Lady GaGa surprised her “Telephone” partner by giving her a diamond studded leather whip plus matching underwear set for her birthday! How sweet can that be?

Beyonce’s husband Jay-Z threw a birthday party for her lovely wife at a posh New York restaurant – he filled the place with fragrance orchids and celebrity friends, of course Lady GaGa was present there as well as Alicia Keys, Sean Kingston and Kanye West. Happy Birthday Beyonce!

In another news, our favorite Hannah Montana star was recently spotted with her “ex” boyfriend or should we call it “current” boyfriend Liam Hemsworth – last Saturday in Studio City. Miley Cyrus seems she cannot make up her mind.

It looks like the two didn’t broke up at all, because if they did why are they together? Are we all victims of another false rumor regarding the couple? I wonder if they ever broke up, or were it another publicity stint from Miley’s side to place her on the headlines again. Based from the picture, it looks like the two are having a good time together, and I don’t think they broke up. What do you think?

Kanye West Vents Out Taylor Swift Apologies on Twitter

The 2009 MTV Video Music Awards was controversial as Kanye West made his comment upon Taylor Swift winning an award. It was remembered that the rapper voiced out his opinion that Beyonce Knowles should have won the award instead of Taylor Swift.

But rapper Kanye West apologized to the dubbed country singer Taylor Swift on the social networking site Twitter.

The issue that should only be dealt with easily was seen by the public as a race issue. According to West, his comment did not speak for all the blacks. It was just his personal comment as one from the music industry. In a series of tweet messages, West spoke about the conflict and how it spread widely and badly in the media and also in his personal life. West expressed, “Why was it made into such a race issue.? I love country music, and Taylor on the one hand, loves rap.”

Kanye West on one of his tweets, “I wish I could talk to every hater face-to-face and change their opinion of me on one conversation at a time.” The rapper added, “I want to win their hearts back so I can continue to bring my take on culture to the masses with a clean opinion.”

He ended his series of tweets with, “I’m sorry Taylor.” With this message, Kanye believes that the issues which started from the MTV Video Music Awards will soon disappear and will give him, Taylor Swift, and the public peace.

Beyonce digs Victoria Beckham’s clothing line. Since Victoria had her Spice Girls career going kaput, she still lives up to being a Posh Spice by doing fabulous designs we always envy.

Even Beyonce herself could not stop adoring Victoria’s collection of clothes. The sexy singer, in fact, wanted Victoria to design a few of her outfits for her upcoming concert tour.

In an interview, a close confidante of Beyonce chimed that:

Beyoncé is a big fan of Victoria and she has seen a few samples of her new collection and admired it so much. Victoria felt very honored and has agreed to create a few designs. Beyoncé already have sunglasses and some clothes. If the two work together, it would really be great.

Dozens of celebrities like to wear Posh’s design, stars like Demi Moore, Jennifer Lopez, Cameron Diaz and Heidi Klum wore this Beckham wife’s designs without batting their eyelashes to hesitate. Demi Moore was seen in a strapless long dress in royal blue that was part of the spring and summer collection of Victoria. At a party, Demi proudly claimed; “I always feel so well in Victoria’s clothes. And they fit so well. They are simple in style through and through.”

There is no doubt that Victoria Beckham is one of the fashion icon among the celebrities and designing clothes for bootylicious Beyonce Knowles would really set the stage on fire. It is a way of maintaining a sizzling hot image!

Miley Cyrus Stays the Same After Sexy Music Video

Miley Cyrus wants to clear out predictions that she’s going the Britney Spears, Beyonce or Rihanna route of making raunchy music videos after she surprised everyone with her sudden “change of image” in her new music video ‘Can’t Be Tamed‘.

The 17 year old Disney star rose to fame by playing the wholesome ‘Hanna Montana’ since she was 11. After all the teeny-bopper stuff she did in the show like wearing atrocious wigs and heavy make-up, Miley Cyrus made everyone uncomfortable with her sudden grown-up shift in her new music video. So, in an interview with MTV News, Miley clarified that she’s still the same old Miley: “The lighting is different, the outfit may be different, but what you see in me is the same since I was 11 years old on ‘Hannah Montana’”.

Yet, there’s no denying that Miley Cyrus is getting older and changing the image she projects is inevitable. Miley is still hopeful that her loyal fans will still recognize her. She thinks that the “Can’t Be Tamed” video”definitely shows a change of what people remember me as, but it’s not trying to not be me. I didn’t want to be just a character. I wanted to be myself and just in a bird-like form in the way I dressed… ‘But my fans will say, ‘There’s the smile we know her for. These are things that she does.’”

Oh well, growing up gracefully and staying away from too much partying will keep you out of trouble for the mean time. Many of your fans are quite happy about your smooth transition to become the hottest pop star.

Justin Bieber claims Beyonce Knowles ‘broke my heart‘ the day she married Jay-Z. This 16-year-old singer has a huge crush on her for years.

He said: ‘I’ve been totally in love with her since I was seven. She kinda broke my heart when she married Jay-Z.’

Despite the sadness, Justin got the chance to meet his idol at this year’s Grammy Awards. He said: ‘It was amazing. I was a little nervous but I told her she was very good-looking. Actually she’s super hot.’

He told Interview magazine: ‘I haven’t been in love yet. I’ve definitely loved girls. But it’s kinda like puppy love. It’s not the real thing, but that’s what you think at the time.’

Beyonce Knowles‘ mother “gets a kick” out of reading gossip about her daughter.

The “Sweet Dreams” singer has broke her mother Tina is possessed with racy tabloid mags, often buying up to 20 at a time while Beyonce abides following to her “praying” no one will catch her.

The 28-year-old star aforesaid:

You know what? My mother loves to read celeb magazines, especially the racy tabloids! I can’t believe it sometimes. She’ll go to this magazine store in New York and buy 20 magazines while I’m standing next to her.

I’m just praying nobody recognises me while my mom is stacking up those magazines! But she loves reading the gossip about celebs and movie stars.

I tell her a lot of the stuff isn’t true, but she says she gets a kick out of reading all the nonsense that gets printed, even about me!

Although Tina – who filed away for divorcement from Beyonce’s father Matthew this month – cares to laugh about the delusive stories written about her daughter, Beyonce gave notice without her, especially when she is on tour.

The star appended:

My mom and my cousin are the leaders of my entourage. They’re with me to help me stay grounded and relax and avoid going out on the town, which is something I rarely do anyway.
