Selena Gomez No-Show in State Fair and Katy Perry Duet

Selena Gomez State Fair No-Show Selena Gomez is slated to make an appearance tomorrow (July 29) at the Delaware State Fair. However, the singer-actress begged off to attend because she is suffering from vocal cord stress! In fact, Selena attended “Lopez Tonight” TV show but she had no voice!

To compensate for not speaking, Selena Gomez became resourceful in an instant and she got a Dynavox machine and a dry eraser board to answer some questions. Pretty neat huh?

Aside from promoting her latest flick ‘Ramona and Beezus’, Selena Gomez said that she’s busy recording her third album “A Year Without Rain.” What a weird title for an album! I wonder if she got that title from her experiences last year… wasn’t she blessed enough last year? Anyways, it looks like she was blessed while making this album because ‘Teenage Dream’ singer Katy Perry has agreed to help her with her new album.

Moreover, Katy Perry and Selena Gomez will have a song duet! Katy Perry will also record a song for Selena’s new album. Selena Gomez enthused that: “Katy gave me a song, and she did background vocals on it. The whole experience was really fun, it’s amazing!”
