Selena Gomez Ready for Sexy Roles? Willow Smith Banned To See Negative Reviews

After launching her single “Whip My Hair”, Will Smith has prevented his daughter Willow Smith from taking a peek at the numerous negative reviews that sprouted online. Will thinks that these negative takes on his nine year old daughter will gravely affect her drive to make it good in the music industry.

Willow Smith confirmed this move from her dad. Since her launch last month (September 10), her father had disallowed her to see the harsh comments posted online. Willow is just excited with all the good raves she’s getting. Everyone also recognizes her great fashion sense and her creative hairstyles. Willow, you can’t please everyone. But it’s wonderful that you don’t get discouraged and find your own person through music.

Another former child star, Selena Gomez is predicted to switch her career from sweet and childlike roles to some grown-up and this may include sexy roles. Miley Cyrus and Vanessa Hudgens are just two of the Disney stars who had their career that way.

However, Selena Gomez’s career path seem to be different from all her other colleagues in Disney. From being a wizard in “Wizards in Waverly Place,” where she started as an actress, Selena is now slowly changing her gears from teen star to teen pop star.

The actress, now singer’s change of career was not too big because people haven’t actually noticed the sudden change of career moves. The decision of Gomez to be a singer, more likely she wants to be a pop star came in a very subtle way. But according to the young star, this changing of career is not something that was pushed into her. She describes it as something already innate in her. Moreover, Gomez expressed that this new addition in her life as a talent is not something new to her.

When Selena Gomez was still living in Texas with her family, she, as a child, likes to sing and play the piano. And because of these gifts, the young star got a role in one of Disney’s shows.

Though, Gomez finds singing just easy, the decision of being a singer, as what she says, seem to confuse her. She pointed out that at first, she was in the middle of attempting to decide whether she’d become a solo singer, or with a band. She further added that it was a tough decision for her and she spent a year just going through thousands of songs. She debuted her first ever single “Kiss and Tell” on 2009, and was followed by “Naturally,” which also became a hit on the charts.

In an interview, Gomez clarified, “I remember Hollywood records called me and said ‘Naturally’ was number one on the Billboard club charts.” She confessed, “And I said, ‘Well, I can’t even get into the club, but that’s awesome.’ As soon as we started working on the second record, I wanted everything to be like ‘Naturally.’ I think techno-dance is really my style.”
