Selena Gomez Perfect Role in Ramona and Beezus American singer and actress Selena Gomez has confirmed that she’ll play the role of Beatrice in the movie ‘Ramona and Beezus’. Selena shared that: “I wanted my first big screen role was the right fit.” And she said it right, the movie got G-rating, which much of her fans can be accommodated in the screening.

Selena Gomez portrays the role of Beezus, Ramona’s older sister. Ramona will be portrayed by American kid actress Joey King. She feels honored to be given the chance to portray the role, the movie was adapted from the 1950’s book Ramona the Pest by Beverly Cleary. Selena has faced a big challenge doing her new role, she needs to pretend as the stuck-up 15 year old sister of Ramona with NO sense of humor. LMAO! We wonder how she can pull that off.

There were times, Selena reminisced that: “When the director had to tell her to dial it down because she wasn’t performing in front of an audience. She told me, `Remember, you’re awkward and haven’t come into your skin yet.” Well, it looks like she’s going through a hard time, but that’s okay as she found a new best friend. She had spent some quality time with co-star Joey King, she admitted that even though she’s just 10 she’s fun to talk too and is very nice. The two bonded while watching “Sex and The City 2”.
