Natural beauty is not enough for ‘Iron Man 2′ actress Scarlett Johansson. She lamented that she only looks gorgeous like all celebrities because of the efforts made by overpaid hair and make-up experts that maintain her appearance to look good on-screen.
Scarlett Johansson believes she owes all her ‘movie star’ beauty to well-applied make-up. And she loves it! Highly famed to be one of the world’s most beautiful women, the 25-year-old Scarlett insisted that her beautiful face is entirely different from the natural looks she’s got. She thinks everything that people see in her is due to the adept efforts done by Hollywood make-up artists and hairdressers.
In her words, Scarlett explained: “It’s all in a day’s work for me. Working with these incredible hair and make-up teams, you go in looking like a schmoe, and you come out like a movie star… You go through the works, and then you’re like this perfectly prepared sausage… no one ever sees what goes in.”
Like every ordinary woman, she is not 100 % secure with her physical appearance. Make-up makes wonders for Scarlett and she’s just excited about how it helped her keep her career is going.
We all know that Scarlett Johansson initially started as a child actress in the 1990s. She has moved a long way then that this curvy girl has been cast in a wide variety of roles, including 2003′s ‘Lost In Translation’, ‘Vicky Cristina Barcelona’ and this latest film Iron Man 2, where she starred with Robert Downey Jr.
Scarlett enthused that these grown up roles is a thrilling experience for her. In an interview with the US V magazine, she said that at the age of 25 .. she had played “characters who are kind of figuring it out, transforming from young girls to young women. I don’t feel like a girl anymore. And I feel like my life and career are on a different path than they had been”.
Scarlett continued that: “There’s a lot of road behind me. I feel at this point I really want to do work that is challenging to me. Not to say that I don’t look at my job and realise that I’m ridiculously fortunate, and purely an actor for hire. You never forget that it’s all so vulnerable.”
Way to go, girl! We’re excited to see the role you portray in the the sure-hit sequel of Iron Man.
