Robert Pattinson Wants Racy Role in ‘Kill Your Friends’

Robert Pattinson is vying to cop a role in a film that kiddies below 18 wouldn’t be permitted to see. Yes, it’s a film adaptation of Kill Your Friends – a gruesome novel about music label A&R man Steven Stelfox. This film is an all-out music industry satire that’s set in the 1990s. Robert Pattinson’s character will be sleeping with dozens of women, taking drugs and will try to evade law with murder.

The 24 year old Twilight superstar is reportedly keen on scoring a role similar to what Ewan McGregor played in Trainspotting. Yes, there’s nudity involved which fans will finally see everything in RPattz’s body – leaving nothing to imagination. The novel was written by John Niven and it was reported that Robert Pattinson is a big fan of this literary piece. A source revealed that Rob is really “fascinated by the music industry and is keen to get involved in the project”. In fact, he already approached the producers of the movie to get them feelers that he’s interested in the lead role.

The source from The Sun UK says that if Robert gets it – it will be the raciest and the “darkest role” he ever played yet: “It’s an incredibly adult character and is bound to shock the tweens who account for such a huge part of Rob’s fan base”. Yet, the novel’s author is quite not supporting Robert Pattinson in his bid to get the role. In fact, Niven is not ashamed to admit that he does not know who RPattz was. Don’t worry, he’ll soon realize that when he gets to see the hordes of Twilight fans seeing this film when Rob gets this role. It’s also interesting to know what his rumored GF Kristen Stewart will have to say about her BF appearing in this movie.
