Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart’s Magic Gradually Fading?

Probably the hottest guy on earth who ever portrayed the role of a vampire, the Twilight Saga and now the “Remember Me” star Robert Pattinson never fails to catch every girl’s fancy. I bet, millions of girls are crazy over this newest Hollywood sensation.

After admitting at BAFTA Awards last February that he is indeed currently dating Kristen Stewart, lots of girl fans are willing to give up everything just to be in Kristen’s shoes. In a recent interview by MTV UK, Pattinson admitted that Kristen was already special even when they first met and even added that he asked her out a lot. Sorry girls, but it seems like he only has his eyes on for Kristen.

However, the 2010 Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards’ turnout was a bit shocking for Team Edward fans and seemed to have created a much bigger spark in the said Taylor Lautner and Robert Pattinson popularity rivalry. Lautner was the one who emerged victorious that night, grabbing two awards under his belt, the Best Actor Award for New Moon and much for the Team Edward’s nightmare, was able to grab the Best Couple Award opposite Kristen Stewart. Lautner was very much overwhelmed with the results and Pattinson wasn’t able to take home anything. The biggest consolation for Robert’s fans would be the fact that his fan base comprise of more young teenage girls, middle-aged adults and moms rather than kids. But, the biggest shock of the night was really overly unexpected: Alvin and the Chipmunks was hailed the Best Film and beat New Moon. Does this mean that Pattinson and Stewart’s magical chemistry on-screen is gradually wearing off? Well, since this is the Kids Choice Awards, New Moon’s loss was somehow reasonable since majority of kids are into funny animation stuff.

On a more positive side, Summit Entertainment has announced that Twilight Saga’s third installment, “Eclipse” will be shown in theatres on June 30^th. The movie premiere schedule in different countries worldwide will vary so global fans should take note and never fail to update themselves on it.
