Paul Abdul to Kiss Simon Cowell Goodbye in American Idol 9 Finale Night

TV reality show American Idol will terribly miss Simon Cowell. So on it’s finale night this Season 9, its producers will present Simon a very special send off party on the finale night – Paula Abdul will make an appearance to kiss him bye-bye. This will be Paula’s first appearance in the show she judged for close to 9 years, before she was replaced by TV host Ellen DeGeneres after having a row with Idol regarding her “take home pay”.

Simon Cowell, on the other hand, believed that his time is up on American Idol. He lamented this message in The Oprah Winfrey Show. However, the British music mogul had no regrets at all because he will be kicking off the US version of X-Factor next year. The 50 year old judge is very thrilled about his new foray and he will still remain as “brutally honest” as he has been all these in American Idol.

With regards to Paula Abdul, she’s playing good sport to say ‘bon voyage’ personally to her friend Simon in the show that ditched her. She’s had no bitter words said about the show and Paula will be happy to see the face off of the Final Two American Idol 2010 contestants – Crystal Bowersox and Lee DeWyze in a two-night season finale on FOX on Tuesday and Wednesday (May 25 and 26). Are you excited to see who’ll win or are you watching the American Idol finale night because you’re missing Paula Abdul? Ah, we’re watching because we will definitely miss Simon Cowell’s honest jabs when hearing clueless contestants! If you might as well know, American Idol started a trend in TV reality shows – it’s Simon Cowell who gathered a lot of attention with his vitriol comments. He will be sorely missed!
