Robert Pattinson Pretends to know Price WilliamWho doesn’t know the hot vampire in the twilight series? Well, everybody does. The movie actor surely doesn’t have to name drop or do anything just to get the attention of everyone these days. However, that wasn’t always the case for the hot actor. When he first arrived in the states, he was a complete stranger. In fact, he admitted that he pretended to know Prince William just to get connections.

Pattinson appeared on BBC’s “The Graham Norton Show” last week and revealed his trick when he was just starting out at Los Angeles.

“When I first came to L.A., it was very easy to convince people I was a member of the royal family. I hadn’t worked for three years — I was unemployed in London — and when people asked what I’d been doing, I told people I went to RADA [Royal Academy of Dramatic Art] with Prince William,” Pattinson said.

“People would think, ‘You’re English, I completely believe you!’” he continued.

Robert Pattinson first big break was when he became the hot vampire in Twilight which has four series. However, before he continues to show his sparkling body in the series, he went for a break as the lead star in Water for Elephants.

The actor co-starred Legally Blonde Reese Witherspoon in the movie. In the story, Pattinson plays a runaway who joins a travelling circus. And he admits that the film role brought an awful memory back.

“The first time I went to a circus, somebody died. One of the clowns died. His little car exploded, the joke car exploded on him. Everybody ran out, it was terrifying,” Pattinson said.

The movie is now showing on cinemas all over the world.
