Matthew Morrison Denies Dating Lea Michele Rumors

Glee‘s Matthew Morrison is aghast at how rumors are spreading that he is dating his co-star Lea Michele. The 31 year old Mr. Schuester shudders at how tabloids are taking potshots at his love life. First was that he was a cheating boyfriend. And now, the nastiest of it came as he received the news that he is in a relationship with an actress who plays his student in the hit TV show. Morrison doesn’t want to worry about these gossips anymore.

Matthew Morrison revealed that he and Lea Michele were obviously surprised at the incorrect tabloid facts that were milling around. He averred that: “There’s the one about Lea Michele and myself, and we were literally on set and I got a call from my publicist, and she got a call a minute later and we looked at each other like, ‘What the ****?’ It’s so laughable… I’ve never gotten into tabloids and I don’t really care about it now, but I just feel bad for other people in my life who are getting dragged into it. It just kinda sucks.”

Playing as teacher to the younger cast as made him protective of them in real life, Matthew shared. In fact, fellow cast members Cory Monteith and Chris Colfer has been taking him as their confidante. In an interview with Parade.com, Matthew mentioned that: “‘They come to me with a lot of questions about things. I am the teacher on the show, and it’s kind of translated to our real lives. They have a certain amount of respect for me, so it’s kinda cool.”

About the Lea Michele dating thing, it’s completely false because she’s dating Theo Stockman a NYU Tisch grad and Broadway actor too. They were photographed kissing at the TIME gala.
