Lindsay Lohan Slammer Slammin’ with Twitter Updates to Boot

Lindsay Lohan was once again checked into jail for the second time in her life Tuesday, July 20. However, her sentence will be shortened from 90 to 14 days.

Luckily her “stay” is shortened because there’s overcrowding in the Los Angeles cells. But the people who are close to her protested because for them prison is not what she needs right now.

To air their sentiments, her father, Michael Lohan, and his attorney Lisa Bloom, as well as Lindsay’s photographer friends Indrani Pal-Chaudhuri and Marcus Klinko, went on CNN’s “Larry King Live”. They argued about Lindsay’s case.

The attorney explained the reason behind Lindsay’s shortened sentence. She explained that this is not because of special treatment but because of the overcrowding in Los Angeles prisons. She claims that 50,000 people were already relieved from jail because of the same reason.

One correspondent described how Lindsay would live in the jail. It won’t be that extravagant, if I may say. She will be well-fed. Like in her first night in jail, she will eat turkey, pasta, applesauce and milk. But she won’t be provided with any cigarettes. She won’t be even given the chance to wear make up and accessories.

Michael, however, is very much optimistic for his daughter was ordered to attend rehab after she comes out from jail. But he is pessimistic about the issues that she might face after her release. Her photographer friends said that she doesn’t need jail but people she can trust.

Lindsay Lohan managed to get updates about her “holiday” in Twitter too. She even joked that before it was bookings with Disney Films that she’s familiar with: “Never thought that I’d be ‘booking’ into Jail…eeeks!” Hang on, Lindsay! Better be a good girl so that the sentence will become a 14 day phrase for you!

Whatever happens to Lindsay Lohan , the cameras and correspondents will always be there ready to take every significant issue. That doesn’t exempt me. I’m always on the go.
