Lady GaGa 10 Million Facebook FriendsLady GaGa fans must be proud all over the world for another feat she achieved last week.

It looks like Miss Germanotta has tons of luck these past few months. The ‘Poker Face’ hit star has now 10 million friends in the social networking site Facebook, she surpassed U.S. President Barack Obama! And not just that, she has received recognition for being among the 100 most powerful celebrities in the world, she occupies the fourth spot. The ranking was based from the popularity and earnings of the celebrities.

Lady GaGa is really a phenomenon! Teens and young adults like her songs and her out of this world outfits. I won’t be surprised if Forbes would soon say that Lady GaGa occupies the top spot on the 100 most powerful celebrities in the world. She’s really a hit, all of her songs are in the Billboard charts, and I’m pretty sure her next album will also be occupying the spot like the previous ones.

In another news, Lady GaGa’s bodyguard faces charges after assaulting paparazzi. Lady Gaga was in Boston earlier this week for her Monster Ball Tour and apparently a 16 year old teen was attempting to take snap shots of the singer while outside the hotel. When Lady GaGa’s bodyguard saw him, the bodyguard “allegedly” assaulted him and pushed him down to the ground and punched him, he had a broken lip after that incident.

The teen was later identified as Carl Wu, a cameraman. He immediately reported the incident to the Boston Police and upon conducting their own investigation; it appears that Wu twisted the story. In his statement with the Boston Herald, he said that “he was being polite and respectful when Lady GaGa’s bodyguard assaulted him.” Lucky me, I found the statement of Lady GaGa’s bodyguard, “the camera guy started to distract by flashing my face with the flash from his camera, as I escorted him away from Ms. GaGa, he started punching me so I had no choice but to put him to the ground until Ms. GaGa was safely escorted from the premises.” According to the police, Wu filed charges but he then decided to drop it afterwards. It looks like his story wasn’t bought by the police department and by the newspaper companies. Better luck next time Mr. Wu!
