Kim Kardashian Battered Wife It might be surprising to know that famous reality TV star Kim Kardashian was formerly a victim of domestic abuse during her short marriage with her ex-husband Damon Thomas. This fact was revealed in newly uncovered court papers released to the prying eyes of the tabloids. Poor Kim!

Filed at Los Angeles Superior Court in 2003, the reality TV star claimed that her former spouse Damon Thomas was abusive towards her throughout their three years of marriage, and that Damon demanded to know her whereabouts every minute of the day.

Kim and Damon eloped to Las Vegas in 2000 when Kim was only 19 years old, she said:

He became enraged and punched me in the face. My face was bruised and swollen as a result. I thought about calling the police but was afraid and decided not to do so. On another occasion we were at the marital residence and had an argument. He grabbed my arm and slammed me against the sliding mirror of the closet in our bedroom.

Damon, who is a record producer, worked with artists such as Lionel Richie and Pink. Kim recounted that her ex-husband wanted her to look ‘perfect’ so he gave her $3,650 to have a liposuction and another $1,000 for more plastic surgery. Kim also alleged she was forced to quit her college years and jobs and was forbidden to see her family and friends.

She added: “Damon decided what we would do and when we would do it. He was very much the ‘King of the castle’.”

Damon filed for divorced in 2003 and their marriage officially ended in February of 2004, with Kim receiving a $56,000 one time payment. We sure hope Kim Kardashian finds the right man for her – the one who’ll treat her right.
