Kara Dioguardi Leaving American Idol And there it goes; another chair is emptied as one of the American Idol’s jurors leave the show.

Kara DioGuardi officially stated that she is leaving the hit singing prime time competition. It has been rumored that DioGuardi was fired from the show as a juror. But this speculation has been successfully refuted in less than two months after DioGuardi released an official statement.

In Dioguardi’s statement, “I felt like I won lottery when I joined American Idol two years ago, but I feel like now is the best time to leave Idol. I am very proud to have been associated with American Idol; it has truly been an amazing experience.”

DioGuardi as a songwriter had joined Idol last 2008 as the fourth juror of the singing competition. She said that the singing competition taught her to nurture the rising talent of the new generation.

She furthermore added, “I am thankful to FOX, Fremantle Media and 19 Entertainment, as well as the cast, crew and contestants, for all they have given to me. I hope all the best for everyone on Season 10!”

DioGuardi’s co-jurors American Idol, Simon Cowell and Ellen Degeneres isn’t parting away with bad terms. The relationship between the jurors is amazingly wonderful. According to Simon Fuller, executive producer of American Idol, DoiGuardi is “one of the best songwriters in the industry. She has been passionate and committed to Idol over the last two seasons.” Fuller expressed that the whole American Idol will really miss DioGuardi on the show.
