Fantasia Barrino Pregnant with Antwaun Cook's Child After the 26 year old American Idol winner Fantasia Barrino overdosed last month, rumors are swirling that she might be pregnant. The website Mediatakeout.com revealed that this news came from a reliable source from VH1.

Last month, the singer overdosed herself with aspirin and now talks and clarifies on details about the attempt to take her life and how she came to her breaking point. She was reportedly having an affair with a married man Antwaun Cook, which is said to be the root cause of it all.

In an interview in Good Morning America, Barrino revealed that she felt like she was just burdened with everything else for six years now. She added that she just couldn’t sustain the feeling and overdosed herself with aspirin. Barrino explains, “I always take a licking and keep on ticking…it just became heavy for me to the point that I just wanted to be away from the noise.”

According to Barrino, mixed emotions of hurt, pain and loneliness over the years caught her mind resulting to the unexpected overdose.
Barrino expressed her pain on the loss of her career and management as the major reason behind all these. She clarifies on losing her career, “There’s so much that people don’t understand. They just see the glitz and the glamour, and they feel like life is so perfect, but we’re human and we go through things.”

After the singer recovered from the overdose, Barrino figured out that there will be a lot of questions from the media. She was worried that she will be bombarded with major blow by blow questions from the press.

About the pregnancy rumors, Fantasia has not yet released any statement regarding it. We hope she is not because her overdose might have deleterious effects to her unborn child.
