Emma Bunton Welcomes New Baby

Emma Bunton 2nd baby Remember Baby Spice of Spice Girls? She has just given birth to another baby. On Friday, May 6, son Tate was born who weighed in at 7lbs. Her representative said that both mother Emma and her son are doing well.

“And the family are over the moon and would like to thank everyone for their kind wishes and support,” she added in her statement.

Bunton also expressed her happiness in her Twitter account.

“Our beautiful son Tate has arrived safe and sound! We are all so happy and excited. Thanks and love to you all.” The said tweet was read by her followers early morning this Friday.

Among the first to congratulate the new mother was TV presenter friend Myleene Klass, who Tweeted: ‘Huge congrats to you and your family. Little Tate is finally here!’

Both the 35-year old singer and her British singer-turned-chef fiancé, Jade Jones wrote messages in their twitter confirming the news. The couple only got engaged earlier this year. Jones popped the question last January.

Jones, was a former member of the British boy band Damage. They have been together for almost twelve years and is living in a five-bedroom home in Bunton’s native north London starting last 2005.

The two are already parents of three-year old son, Beau. Beau, which in French means “beautiful,” was born last August 2007. Their first son also weighed 7lbs when he was born.

And 2011 is turning out to be quite the family-focused year for the couple and their growing family.
