Emily Blunt Excited for Holiday Feast

Devil Wears Prada actress Emily Blunt can’t hide her excitement in the coming holidays because of the fattening foods she plans to consume in this festive affair. Emily says that Christmas is a perfect excuse to forget strict diet.

The 26 year old British actress promised herself that: “I’m going to eat as much as I want and get off this diet I’ve been on!” Emily has living crazy monitoring her calorie intake during the filming of her latest movie, The Adjustment Bureau. Understandably, she should stay slender because she is playing slim ballet dancer named Elise Sellas.

Emily has been very lucky to be cast opposite Matt Damon in this sci-fi thriller about a ballet dancer and a politician who are having an affair. They are bound by love but kept away by mysterious forces.

If not for the role, Emily forced herself to train to lose weight abruptly, and she enrolled in a ‘dance boot camp’ in order to suit her body for the dancing scenes she needed to do.

Emily was quoted saying that: “I’m going to dance boot camp. I’ll never be at the same standard as a professional, but hopefully I’ll be able to do a little bit. I didn’t do ballet when I was a child. I gave it up in some sort of bratty rage, claiming it hurt my feet.” The Adjustment Bureau is scheduled for release in early 2010
