Simon Cowell “adores” his new “American Idol” jurist Ellen DeGeneres, who substituted Paula Abdul on the adjudicating panel.

Talk show host Ellen substituted Paula Abdul on the adjudicating panel of the US talent program -making up her unveiling as the show brings back next January- and she’s already won over her new co-workers, let in notoriously hard-to-please Simon.
