Chelsea Handler Saddling Up for 2010 MTV Video Music Awards

Chelsea Handler Emcees 2010 MTV Video Music Awards Celebrities have been given a reasonable warning. It has been reported that Chelsea Handler, a sarcastic, sassy and talkative comedian, was chosen to be the host of this year’s MTV Video Music Award.

The 2010 MTV Video Music Awards will be aired live from the Nokia Theatre at Los Angeles on September 12 at 9 in the evening. With Chelsea as the main host of the event, it is expected that the show will get a little rare for a Video Music Awards.

Handler is best known for her exploits on her outrageous and not-so offensive late-night show Chelsea Lately. She was also known to be a best-selling author of despicably brutal books and totally funny and honest books. However, sources say that Handler will not do her thing on the VMA night.

The comedian will also be making history in the MTV Awards. She will be listed as the very first woman that will host solo in the MTV Awards. She will be the second woman who will be hosting since 1994 after Roseanne Barr. With Barr’s time, the host had a partner not like Handler that will handle the show on her own.

Handler will be joined with performances by popular artists like Kanye West, Florence and the Machine, B.O.B., and of course Justin Bieber. Presenters for the awards night include Kesha and Ne-yo. Other performers and presenters will be added on the list.
