Chelsea Clinton Wedding Gown Price is Still a Mystery

Chelsea Clinton Wedding Gown PriceCongratulations to the newlyweds, Mr. and Mrs. Marc Mezvinsky! The wedding might not be the one that we expected it to be, but Chelsea Clinton’s gown said it all. She was wearing a strapless with yards of ivory silk organza with tulle pleated diagonally on the bodice and finished with a silvery embroidered waistband, designed by no other than Vera Wang.

There were rumors going around that her mother’s designer Oscar dela Renta will design her gown, but it seems like Chelsea has her own taste and has her own designer. She has evolved from the “gawky, studious teenager into an accomplished, self-assured young woman,” according to a website. She also tried to run away from the normal “I’ll wear my hair down,” she wore a grand chignon and minimal jewelry – only a bracelet and earrings.

Chelsea Clinton was described by her friends as simple and elegant and that’s what she showed in her big day. She later changed into ivory silk tulle Grecian dress with crisscross back and a black grosgrain belt for their reception. As to how much is the wedding gown, I don’t know. When Vera was asked, all she said was “I neither was nor permitted to speak about it.” Take a guess, anyone?
