Quentin Tarantino Bent on Working with Lady Gaga

Everything with Lady Gaga is a performance. From her videos, concerts, and even guestings, to just an airport walk, she walks in with a 12-inch heel boots and goes out in full costume. So, it is no longer a surprise if a director, specifically ‘Inglourious Basterds’ director Quentin Tarantino, has so much faith in the capabilities of the “Born this Way” singer, Lady Gaga. And because of that, he wants her to be a part of his upcoming film.

Tarantino and Gaga both attended Cannes Film Festival at Cannes, France where Lady Gaga performed for a star-studded crowd which included Tarantino, Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, Johnny Depp, Uma Thurman and Kanye West.

According to a source close to Tarantino who tells the Daily Mail, “It’s no secret Quentin’s been eyeing up Gaga for a role in one of his up-and-coming films.” And now that they are both in Cannes, Tarantino is keen to show off his movie star credentials and may ask Gaga to be part of his next film or films.

But whether he’s eyeing Gaga for a part in his next feature, the details of his future works are still unknown. However, recently he has announced ‘Django Unchained,’ starring Will Smith, but did not give further information.

The two are said to be old friends. The director got knew the pop star when he lent the singer the “P***y Wagon” truck used in his ‘Kill Bill’ films for her ‘Telephone’ video last year.

It was in February when we have seen a scene in an episode of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, that Justin Bieber was shot and killed. One of the CSI actors, Marg Helgenberger, whom Bieber has worked with commented on how it was like to work with the young singer.

“He was kind of a brat on the set,” she confessed.

“He was very nice to me. But he locked one of the producers in a closet and he put his fist through a cake that was on the cast’s table.’ Helgenberger, 52, plays CSI investigator Catherine Willows and has received Emmy and Golden Globe nominations for her role.

The young Bieber may have not took this criticism in a good way, rather took it on Twitter.

The 17-year old singer went on the offensive by posting tweets on the networking site. Without naming Helgenberger he sort of, fired back, “It’s kinda lame when someone you met briefly and never worked with comments on you. I will continue to wish them luck and be kind.”

He continues, “I know who I am and sometimes people r just going 2 say what they want. Keep ur head up and be the man ur mama raised.”

“Rumors are just that…rumors. In the end if you just be kind and be yourself people will know who you are. That goes for anyone I think.” He refers to his alleged antics in CSI as rumors.

On one hand, we might think, was it better if Marg Helgenberger just had not said that? We all know what happened to Selena Gomez when Beliebers found out the two were dating.

Everybody was shocked when award-winning actress Natalie Portman announced to everyone last December 2010 that she is engaged to boyfriend Benjamin Millepied who is a dancer and is expecting her first child with him. Now, Millepied has a new career to pursue. He is the new face of an unrevealed name of Yves Saint Laurent men’s fragrance.

He was seen moving his way through Manhattan just this week while shooting ads for the said scent. The ad will debut in September 2011.

The fragrance will be third in line of the YSL scents which includes L’Homme (Halle Berry‘s beau Olivier Martinez fronts for that one) and La Nuit de L’Homme. The endorsement contract mirrors that of Millepied;s betrothed; Portman was the recent face of Miss Dior Cherie perfume.

According to some people, Millepied is an inspired choice. This is a smart move by YSL-hiring one but getting two names linked in their new fragrance.

The 33-year old Millepied, originally born in France, is a principal dancer at the prestigious New York City Ballet. He may not be that known in the celebrity world, but he is a sure A-lister in the world of ballet gained through his years of experience as a dancer and choreographer.

The couple met while filming Black Swan. Benjamin was the choreographer of the film. But then, he found himself playing as the dance partner of Portman and Kunis with only six lines performed in the movie. Benjamin said he was “blown away” by Natalie and that’s how it all started.

American Idol Redux: Simon Cowell and Paula Abdul X Factor Reunion in the Offing

After a lackluster Live to Dance TV show stint, Paula Abdul might just get a second wind in her career by being in Simon Cowell’s side once again on the judges’ table in the US version of X Factor. The 51 year old British media mogul disclosed recently that his former American Idol judge Paula is on his final lst of recommendees in the said latest reality show.

Another female entertainer is on Simon’s bucket list too and she’s Cheryl Cole. Cole served as a British X Factor judge and Simon has only kind words to say about the former Girls Aloud group member – saying.that Cole is “smart” and an overall “great judge”. Simon Cowell opined that American audience will surely love Cheryl and the TV network FOX is doing its best to get her on the show.

What about Paula? Well, Simon shared that he truly missed the banters they had in American Idol. It’s all about chemistry, he says. There’s something interesting in the way Paula and Simon argued – not annoying but easily endearing to all television viewers. Simon is really looking forward that Paula will sign up with the deal and it’s surely a hit show in the offing, we think.

The US X Factor is still due to be shown this Fall but there has been a lot of buzz if Simon will again make a trend in American TV landscape. With his American Idol exit, TV viewers are longing for that trademark acerbic comments from Simon Cowell. Will the Simon magic work better if Paula is around?

No Post Breakup Blues for Vanessa Hudgens and Zac Efron

Despite some racy photos hacked from her email account, Vanessa Hudgens is enjoying her unattached self. In fact, Vanessa Hudgens bared in an interview with host Ellen DeGeneres that she is still communicating with ex-squeeze Zac Efron. There’s no point to be mum about a relationship that did end gracefully.

The 22 year old Beastly actress described that Zac and her are “excellent”. She deemed that just after many years their bond is so strong that they can’t avoid to “stay close friends.” That’s good to know that there’s still a flicker of hope if they realize they were meant for each other.

But here’s a clincher – Ellen quizzed Vanessa with regards to her rumored new flame in the person of Josh Hutcherson! The Disney star seemed to evade the topic and bannered the “just friends” cliche. So they are just “buddies”, huh? We’ll believe that for now. However, Ellen can’t stop from rubbing it in as she pointed out that the guy (Josh) looks like “he’s more than a friend”. So Vanessa had no choice but to reveal that they went to movies together. She likes him a lot too!

Should Zac Efron be worried? We don’t think so. This year has so much in store for the Hollywood cutie.

Zac is working on many projects lately. He’s been cast in New Year’s Eve and he will be working with Taylor Swift as a love interest in a Dr. Seuss film The Lorax. And yes, he’s still working up that great bod. So much for the post-breakup blues right? Both stars are doing so well.

After a rough 2010 for Demi Lovato, the Disney star is starting pick up pieces of what’s left in her shaky career. There are some stunts being done in her favor, like the fan tattoos and the erroneous reports that she donated $1 million in support of Japan.

Although we’re not at all suggesting that these are all Demi’s machinations to grab attention again, looks like these stunts may not just be doing her any good right now. Activating her Twitter account again, Demi was well-received by the Twitterverse. She exclaimed: “”I love you guys SO MUCH … this support is UNBELIEVABLE!! I’m tearing up I’m so thankful.”

Today, her beloved fans expressed their excitement for Demi Lovato’s upcoming third album. In fact, these fans are utilizing the microblogging site to demonstrate their specific support as they stoked the DemiLovatoThirdAlbum trend. Mostly, fan reactions were all strongly supporting her in this endeavor.

With that, other rumors started to brew that this album will also feature fellow Disney star Miley Cyrus. Will she be inviting Joe Jonas to sing with her in one track? Everything is possible since Joe is now in Splitsville with former flame Ashley Greene. We’ll be on the watch for this third album definitely.

Miley Cyrus stirs holidays with racy photos, while Elton John welcomes newborn son.

There’s no taming for Miley Cyrus, even if it’s Christmas and all. Another racy photo of her sprouted from somewhere having a girl-on-girl action. The picture divulge a sexily clad Miley on top of a female dancer who is about to lay her tongue on Miley’s melons.

Although the photo seems to be all in the spirit of fun, many critics are bashing her for her wild ways. This is just a month after the 18 year old Disney star caught herself on a video while smoking a bong stuffed with salvia. For us, the picture isn’t all that bad. Now that she’s 18 – people should start realizing that she is not a kid anymore. Before the year ends, we are hoping that something good will be heard of Miley. For a change, you know!

Another celebrity on the headlines is Elton John. The 63 year old British singer and his partner David Furnish scored themselves a bouncing baby boy, thanks to an unknown surrogate mom. The identity of the surrogate mother has been a top secret because Elton does not want the media to pester her.

They named their son Zachary, who was born on Christmas day, marks a dream come true for Elton and David. They once tried to adopt a baby from Ukraine but things didn’t turn out well for that planned adoption. Elton is just thankful that his son is “healthy and doing well”. He and David “is overwhelmed with happiness” that Zachary came in the right time for them complete their family.

24 Hour Pass – Selena Still Mum About for Demi

Demi Lovato got a 24 hour Christmas pass and former BFF Selena Gomez is still not talking about her fellow Disney star.

Selena Gomez still emits her cold treatment to Demi Lovato. Recently, Demi got some pass in her treatment facility to be able to spend the holidays with her family. Also, Demi’s rep gained some ground after they reached a settlement with back-up dancer Alex Welch, who Demi reportedly punched after she lost her cool during their Camp Rock tour.

When Selena was asked about her thoughts about Demi, the 18 year old singer-actress did not have anything to say about Demi. Anyway, it’s Christmas, girls! We just hope both of you can iron out any misgivings the past year.

Selena Gomez, who had her star shine when she played as Alex Russo in Disney’s Wizards of Waverly Place that won her an Emmy Award, does not quite mind if she covers song from time to time.

The teenage star has recently taken the cover of Jason Derulo’s “In My Head.” Gomez did this for the iheartradio and the rest of the stint goes down in history.

Critics quite agree to the fact that Selena Gomez is not the best singer out there. She has her own competitors, and we must say that they are much better than her in this aspect. Miley Cyrus’ there and she’s been hitting Hollywood amazingly. You could also include Vanessa Hudgens as one, and of course Demi Lovato who is also a Disney star.

However, we must give this teenage star two thumbs up of being brave enough in taking those shots to cover up for other artist’s songs.

Gomez confesses, “I love covering songs. Whenever I tour, I have five songs.” She furthermore adds, “People are always like that ‘That’s a lot of songs.’ But it’s because I don’t always want it to be about me and my music. I want it to be just music in general. I love being able to cover people that I love.”

In general, Gomez’s cover ups seem to be just alright. A lot of teenagers are singing over and over again the covers of Gomez.

After Taylor Swift’s happy ending in “Mine” and having crashed a wedding in “Speak Now,” the country singer is now apologetic in her new single “Back to December.”

“Back to December” is a ballad/pop song of Taylor Swift which tells the story of Swift admitting to her former boyfriend that she made a mistake. After having a small talk during a meeting, she finally tells her former boyfriend that she’s sorry for all the things she did wrong. The song is, like most of her songs, a confession. This single was released on iTunes as part of their countdown on Taylor Swift’s Speak Now album release.

Swift sings, “Your guard is up and I know why. Because the last time you saw me is still burned in the back of your mind. You gave me roses, and I left them there to die. So this is me swallowing my pride standing in front of you. Saying I’m sorry for that night and I go back to December all the time.”

Before the song was released, Swift was interviewed. In this interview, she admitted that the song is dedicated to someone whom she had done wrong. She explains, “The person I wrote this song about deserves this. This is about a person who was incredible to me, just perfect to me in a relationship, and I was really careless with him. This is a song full of words I would say to him.”
