Natalie Portman’s Fiance Strikes a Pose to Promote Perfume

Everybody was shocked when award-winning actress Natalie Portman announced to everyone last December 2010 that she is engaged to boyfriend Benjamin Millepied who is a dancer and is expecting her first child with him. Now, Millepied has a new career to pursue. He is the new face of an unrevealed name of Yves Saint Laurent men’s fragrance.

He was seen moving his way through Manhattan just this week while shooting ads for the said scent. The ad will debut in September 2011.

The fragrance will be third in line of the YSL scents which includes L’Homme (Halle Berry‘s beau Olivier Martinez fronts for that one) and La Nuit de L’Homme. The endorsement contract mirrors that of Millepied;s betrothed; Portman was the recent face of Miss Dior Cherie perfume.

According to some people, Millepied is an inspired choice. This is a smart move by YSL-hiring one but getting two names linked in their new fragrance.

The 33-year old Millepied, originally born in France, is a principal dancer at the prestigious New York City Ballet. He may not be that known in the celebrity world, but he is a sure A-lister in the world of ballet gained through his years of experience as a dancer and choreographer.

The couple met while filming Black Swan. Benjamin was the choreographer of the film. But then, he found himself playing as the dance partner of Portman and Kunis with only six lines performed in the movie. Benjamin said he was “blown away” by Natalie and that’s how it all started.

Royal Newlyweds William and Kate Reveal American Travel Plans

After a week of speculation, it is finally confirmed. Prince William and his new wife Kate Middleton will indeed visit West Coast, California for summer. The royal newlyweds will be in California from July 8-10, 2011. However, their exact itinerary will not be made public until on a later date.

It was confirmed by Clarence House just this Thursday, May 5, morning. As previously announced, William, 28, and Kate, 29, will kick off their first overseas trip with an extensive tour of Canada. Their Canada jaunt will be from June 30-July 8.

William has visited US privately before. However, the Palace notes that this will be his first official visit to the country. As for the Duchess, the U.S. trip will be a whole new thing, indeed: The Duchess of Cambridge has never visited the United States of America officially or privately.

Earlier this week, royal watcher Andrew Morton speculated that the royal couple may hang out with the likes of fellow Brits-turned-L.A.-transplants David and Victoria Beckham, who attended their royal wedding.

The royal couple – now known as the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, after a long private weekend, have finally returned to the remote island of Anglesey in Wales, where William is based as a Royal Air Force search-and-rescue helicopter pilot, putting off a honeymoon for now.

Their week-long tour in Canada this June 30 will start with a visit at Ottawa, Prince Edward Island, Quebec, Alberta and the Northwest Territories, including a trip to the Arctic.

British model and actress Rosie Huntington-Whiteley has been named the ‘Sexiest Woman in the World’, as unveiled by FHM in its annual poll. Last year’s newcomer to the Sexiest Women poll in the men’s magazine has toppled the likes of Cheryl Cole and Megan Fox, paving the way for the Victoria’s Secret model to lay claim on the prestigious title. She secured the top spot, hindering Cole’s third consecutive win.

In London last night, Huntington Whiteley celebrated her World’s Sexiest Woman title, saying, “Wow! Thanks for voting guys, I’m so flattered to be FHM’s Sexiest Woman in the World. This is a really exciting year for me and I hope you’ll enjoy Transformers 3.” She has replaced Megan Fox, who got the fourth spot in the poll, in the latest sequel Transformers: Dark of the Moon.

Many people have been eyeing Chezza’s third win streak but the X Factor judge came short to landing on the top 10, where she only ranked 12th on the FHM poll. Singers Katy Perry and Rihanna made a higher voter turnout ranking at number two and three correspondingly. Plus, Twilight star Kristen Stewart has placed at number 13, Heroes’ cheerleader Hayden Panettiere at number 21 and Kate Middleton, new Duchess of Cambridge, who is the only royal finest in the poll at number 39.

FHM’s Stuart Hood stated that “Queen Cheryl is dead and succeeding her on the throne is a British sensation who is no stranger to stepping into the high heels of the world’s most attractive women.

“In a year, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley has replaced Kelly Brook in Jason Statham’s heart and replaced Megan Fox in Transformers, and now she’s replaced Wor Chezza as the planet’s most lusted after female.”

The newly named Duchess of Cambridge – Kate Middleton definitely swept everyone with her Alexander McQueen bridal gown. It definitely fits well for a princess. And while everyone was envious about it, they forgot that the bride has a second gown, also an Alexander McQueen creation, which was absolutely meant for a party.

After a long day which started at 6:30 am with hair and make-up, the long processional, the most awaited royal kiss, and the reception at the Buckingham Palace, Kate found time to change before starting a long night with her husband, Prince William.

While taking a brief rest at Prince Charles’ home, Kate slipped into a gown made by Sarah Burton: a white satin strapless evening gown with a diamante embedded around the waist. Warming her up in breezy 60-degree weather was a simple shrug. The look was simple but classy and ready for party.

The Duke of Cambridge also managed to pull a quick change. Prince William took aside his scarlet colonel uniform in favor of a dapper black tuxedo for the night. Prince Charles and his wife Camilla, Kate’s maid of honor Pippa, Best Man Prince Harry, and Kate’s parents all stepped out into new colorful outfits too.

They all headed to Buckingham Palace where Prince Charles is throwing the couple-and other 300 select guests a dinner dance. After spending the whole day as a couple with family and friends, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will likely to jet-off on a secret destination for their honeymoon the next day.

Tagged to be the wedding of the year for 2011,Prince William and Kate Middleton must have butterflies in their stomachs as their wedding day draws near. All over the world, people are buzzing around of who will make it in the royal wedding guest list. However, the most hush-hushed topic above all in this wedding is what would Kate Middleton’s wedding gown would look like.

About the guests, naturally family and friends are invited by the royal couple. Of course, well-known politicians and world rulers were among the most esteemed invitees. The likes of Crown Prince of Bahrain Salman bin Hamad al-Khalifa, Julia Gillard from Australia, John Major and other members of the parliament and royal families from around the globe will grace the ceremonies. Sadly, former Iron Lady Margaret Thatcher can’t make it because of sickness but she got an invite too.

For William and Kate’s celeb friends, David and Victoria Beckham are on the guest list. So as Sir Elton John, singer Joss Stone, comedian Rowan Atkinson and director-slash-ex-Madonna hubby Guy Ritchie are given the honor to attend the royal wedding. All in all, there will be more than 600 guests arriving as well-wishers at the April 29 wedding, while 80 of these guests are close family and friends.

A sneak peek of Kate Middleton’s wedding dress is above, which is reportedly a sketch made by Kate herself. It’s supposed in ivory color with satin and lace appliques. This is an honor towards the Emanuel bridal dress worn by Princess Diana herself in the 80′s. There will be pearl button element and a 10-foot-train, according to the newspaper. Sophie Cranston of the Libelula label has been tasked to create Kate’s design into reality.

For her accessories, Kate has penchant for pearls and diamond earrings but most likely she will be embellish herself with borrowed jewelry from the Queen. Overall, the royal wedding this April 29 is every girl’s dream bridal event. All that glitters in Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are just courtesy of the klieg lights. After the wrap, they are on their iPhones and they watch their favorite films, albeit not always together as fans assume. They admit that their life can be obnoxiously boring most of the time and they like it that way as it attaches them to the real world beyond their busy schedules.

We keep hearing about Robert Pattinson being every woman’s dream, and every man’s envy. He has everything to make him extremely popular, the fame, the talent, the good looks, and the girl. I mean to refer to Kristen Stewart, who is not only his love interest in the Twilight Saga movies, but also in real life as well. It’s almost a universal fact that the actor is the most popular figure in Hollywood nowadays, and everybody wants a piece of him.

One has to wonder whether this popularity has its disadvantages as well. When you count advantages, then you probably won’t stop counting. However, there are several disadvantages as well, and Robert Pattinson has taken this in wonderful stride. For one, Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart has to constantly face the dilemma of being under the paparazzi radar. As demands for news about the actor and actress grows directly proportional to their popularity, the two actors sometimes had to do extreme measures just to keep their privacy in place.

There was a time when they were very annoyed by the media, because they cannot get some private space for their relationship to grow. Now that this problem seems to subside a little, another problem that Robert Pattinson have to deal with is the fact that he has become the object of Internet Memes.

James Franco is biting another bullet for his disappointing Oscar hosting gig. Telling no less than the New York magazine that the 32 year old actor didn’t quite “get there” as an Oscar front guy, comedy penpusher Bruce Vilanch got the ire of Franco in Twitter. In the microblogging platform, the actor scribbled all his distress about letdown spewed against him. He told everyone that Bruce – “he let me down”. Poor thing!

The 127 Hours actor also expressed his dismay about Vilanche’s pillaging about Franco’s hosting job by posting a picture of them together with funny scribbles stating the thoughts of Vilanche about him. We’re guessing James doesn’t take criticisms so lightly, eh?

In another front, the Prince William and Kate Middleton wedding is starting to take shape as the wedding carriage which will be used has been identified. It’s the same vehicle that was used by Princess Diana and Prince Charles in their 1981 wedding event – a 1902 State Landau refurbished with gold paint and red upholstery. It’s actually called the Rolls Royce 1.

They will ride this carriage as they traipse the Westminster Abbey by means of central London towards the Buckingham palace. Any girl will be surely delighted to have a wedding made in heaven such as what is Kate is experiencing in April 29.

Miley Cyrus stirs holidays with racy photos, while Elton John welcomes newborn son.

There’s no taming for Miley Cyrus, even if it’s Christmas and all. Another racy photo of her sprouted from somewhere having a girl-on-girl action. The picture divulge a sexily clad Miley on top of a female dancer who is about to lay her tongue on Miley’s melons.

Although the photo seems to be all in the spirit of fun, many critics are bashing her for her wild ways. This is just a month after the 18 year old Disney star caught herself on a video while smoking a bong stuffed with salvia. For us, the picture isn’t all that bad. Now that she’s 18 – people should start realizing that she is not a kid anymore. Before the year ends, we are hoping that something good will be heard of Miley. For a change, you know!

Another celebrity on the headlines is Elton John. The 63 year old British singer and his partner David Furnish scored themselves a bouncing baby boy, thanks to an unknown surrogate mom. The identity of the surrogate mother has been a top secret because Elton does not want the media to pester her.

They named their son Zachary, who was born on Christmas day, marks a dream come true for Elton and David. They once tried to adopt a baby from Ukraine but things didn’t turn out well for that planned adoption. Elton is just thankful that his son is “healthy and doing well”. He and David “is overwhelmed with happiness” that Zachary came in the right time for them complete their family.

Emma Watson snagged iPad’s living magazine cover for Marie Claire.

If you’ve seen that Harry Potter newspaper Daily Prophet that features moving pictures, then in real life it’s now made possible via Apple’s iPad. In the magazine cover (in YouTube video below), you can see Emma wearing her pixie cut and changes her position like she is in an actual photoshoot.

That’s really neat! We sure want to see more celebrities doing their living magazine cover too!

Emma Watson, who has been living all her life at UK, says that she’s some kind of tired living the cold weather at her place. She shares that she wanted, even for once, to go to India as the best day-out for her.

The Harry Potter smart gal shared of what she thinks about going to India, “I have always been fascinated with India, and I would love to come and explore the country. I have heard that Goa is a beautiful place to chill and relax, and since it’s so cold in UK, I would love to come there, get some warmth and get myself that tan, which I’d die for.”

The young actress also is open to be exposed in Bollywood movies. Emma shared, “I have seen a few Bollywood movies, but I really don’t remember names, if I was offered in an Indian film, I would love to act and shake my leg.”

Watson is also recognized as one of the youngest sexiest ladies in Britain. The actress humbly says, “I’m still astonished that I have been named under that title. Being sexy is just being comfortable in your skin, and when you exude comfort and charm without trying hard to do so – that is sexy. I feel Scarlett Johansson is an epitome of being sexy.”

Demi Lovato got a 24 hour Christmas pass and former BFF Selena Gomez is still not talking about her fellow Disney star.

Selena Gomez still emits her cold treatment to Demi Lovato. Recently, Demi got some pass in her treatment facility to be able to spend the holidays with her family. Also, Demi’s rep gained some ground after they reached a settlement with back-up dancer Alex Welch, who Demi reportedly punched after she lost her cool during their Camp Rock tour.

When Selena was asked about her thoughts about Demi, the 18 year old singer-actress did not have anything to say about Demi. Anyway, it’s Christmas, girls! We just hope both of you can iron out any misgivings the past year.

Selena Gomez, who had her star shine when she played as Alex Russo in Disney’s Wizards of Waverly Place that won her an Emmy Award, does not quite mind if she covers song from time to time.

The teenage star has recently taken the cover of Jason Derulo’s “In My Head.” Gomez did this for the iheartradio and the rest of the stint goes down in history.

Critics quite agree to the fact that Selena Gomez is not the best singer out there. She has her own competitors, and we must say that they are much better than her in this aspect. Miley Cyrus’ there and she’s been hitting Hollywood amazingly. You could also include Vanessa Hudgens as one, and of course Demi Lovato who is also a Disney star.

However, we must give this teenage star two thumbs up of being brave enough in taking those shots to cover up for other artist’s songs.

Gomez confesses, “I love covering songs. Whenever I tour, I have five songs.” She furthermore adds, “People are always like that ‘That’s a lot of songs.’ But it’s because I don’t always want it to be about me and my music. I want it to be just music in general. I love being able to cover people that I love.”

In general, Gomez’s cover ups seem to be just alright. A lot of teenagers are singing over and over again the covers of Gomez.
