Angelina Jolie Rewarding Experience in Pakistan Trip

Goodwill ambassador for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees Angelina Jolie flew to Pakistan yesterday to visit the victims of the recent deluge in the area. She wore a long black robe and a headscarf embellished with a thin red stripe.

Jolie will stay there for 2 days so she can help the victims of the worst natural disaster in Pakistan and to raise awareness and international aid for the hopeless citizens of the country, according to authorities. Jolie immediately went to work – she talked to mothers who lost their children and an elderly couple who lost their home.

Jolie is hoping to gather enough donations when she comes back, the country lost 1,700 of its people and 17 million are deeply affected. “I am very moved by them and I hope that I am able to, today and tomorrow, be able to do something to help bring attention to the situation for all of the people in need in Pakistan,” she told the reporters at a refugee camp on Jalozai. As of the moment U.N. has received $294 million for the emergency funds they asked from the international community, but they need $460 million to help fix Pakistan.

After the success of Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam, fans are asking for a Camp Rock 3! Demi Lovato said that there could be a Part 3. Demi digs the idea for another chapter and she even wants to take it to the next level, she wants it on the big screen!

Demi shared that it would be like High School Musical – it can end because they have decided to do their own thing or maybe things won’t work out because the Camp Rock is already closed. There’s no definite plan yet according to her, “You never know so you’ll just have to find out,” she teased.

After her arrest last week, Paris Hilton has flown to Hawaii to seek refuge. Paris and her boyfriend Cy Waits was caught enjoying their tropical getaway.

Phe tweeted that she even felt like Ariel – the little mermaid under the sea, it seems that she’s not affected by the situation at all. Paris posted her experience via Twitter; “Had a beautiful romantic dinner on the beach. Now in bed about to watch Precious. I love this movie, so moving and emotional.” They were spotted enjoying some retail therapy and exploring Maui’s art galleries afterwards.

Taylor Lautner has won in a case he had filed against McMahon’s RV. The actor of the famous vampire-human-wolf love triangle story Twilight series, has won a settlement of $40, 000 from Mc Mahon’s RV when the California-based company failed to deliver the RV he had requested. The RV was actually not delivered on the set of his film on time, and from this the suit was charged.

Lautner filed his case last month after the RV trailer was not delivered on time last June 21 for the filming of his new movie Abduction. The owner of the company even challenged the Twilight actor to have a push-up competition instead of having a file cased against the company. But Lautner did not consider the owner’s challenge. Lautner pursued the case.

McMahon’s RV compromised with what Lautner wanted. The company agreed to pay the amount that the actor wants. According to the actor’s lawyer, Robert Barta, the company should pay the amount that will particularly help and financially support an organization, specifically The Lollipop Theatre Network.

In Barta’s statement, “McMahon’s RV has agreed to settle its dispute with Taylor Lautner. McMahon’s RV will pay $40, 000 to Lautner, which he will donate to The Lollipop Network.”

The Lollipop Theatre Network is a children’s charity in which the actor has been helping ever since.

After asking for PR help to conceal public perception that she was behind the spread of their private tapes, Oksana Grigorieva acquired $84,000 in debt. Now, she is requesting the judge to let Mel Gibson foot these bills for her.

According TMZ, Grigorieva is faced with $84,000 debts in PR expenses and legal fees. In a statement given by the spokesperson from Los Angeles district attorney’s office last week, authorities are still taking into consideration if they are going to file charges to famous actor Mel Gibson. This is regarding the investigation on the grievances he had exposed.

Sandi Gibbons, one of the prosecutors, presented the evidences found by the Los Angeles’ sheriff that could give emphasis and point Gibson to have done her harm.

Gibbons explained, “They brought us one-half of the investigation and that half involved the investigation of Mel Gibson.” A surprising statement caught the attention of everyone as Gibbons further added that the prosecutors are also investigating the actions of Gibson’ girlfriend.

Prosecutors are said to be finding evidences if Gibson’s girlfriend will be also filed with charges connecting them to domestic violence or not.
This case was opened in Malibu Hills, California on July, as the police investigated on evidences on the alleged incident caused by Mel Gibson to his ex-wife identified as Oksana Grigorieva.

Grigorieva had accused Gibson of smacking her on her face. On the other hand, Gibson accused Grigorieva of attempting to extort him so that the records of their arguments will be kept secret.

Part of the evidences for the investigation was the phone calls between her and Gibson. Some of the recorded audio recordings spread over the World Wide Web.

Gibson and Grigorieva are now fighting with the custody of their 8-month-old daughter.

Jonas Brothers Unveiled Camp Rock 2 Surprise

The Jonas Brothers trio can’t get enough of their popularity. On the premiere of their latest movie Camp Rock 2: the Final Jam, they introduced to the whole world the addition to their line, their younger brother Frankie.

The nine-year old Frankie Jonas had his very first step on red carpet in New York as one of the cast members of the sequel of the Camp Rock.

During the premiere, the young Jonas was asked on his outlook with this opportunity. He excitedly explains, “I was just so happy to hear that they wanted me in the movie, I was like ‘yes, yes, yes!’ I was very happy.”

When it comes to maturity in the workplace, Frankie discloses that he’s the more serious one among his older brothers, Kevin, Joe and Nick. The Jonas Brothers trio would have fun sometimes in between tapings, and Frankie would tell them to focus in the work.

“I would like to pursue my acting career but also do a little singing in the middle. I play a little drums and the littlest bit of guitar,” Frankie expresses. He is more encouraged to do best in his acting career, so as not to be compared with his older brothers. He wants to be known as a performer in his own right, not just the brother of the Jonas Brothers trio.

However, Frankie reveals that he is not yet ready for some fans hovering around him. He also gags that he is not ready yet for signing autographs because he has a bad handwriting. “I’ve been practicing, but I did not quite master it,” Frankie added.

Camp Rock 2: the Final Jam will be airing on Disney channel starting September 17, 2010 at 6:30pm.

Sandra Bullock offers her ex-husband welcoming words as he is moving on the actress’ adopted hometown in Texas.

The actress told People magazine that she is in full support regarding Jesse’s moving into her house in Austin. Sandra further explains that they both have moved on. “We have both moved on with our lives and only want the best for each other. Anything else that is said on my behalf is inaccurate,” the actress clarifies.

In Bullock’s point of view, the phrase “moving on” involves the finalization of the papers for her adoption to eight-month old son, Louis. The said finalization started processing last August 13, and the actress’ side is only waiting for the results. According to a source, Bullock is so in love with her son, that she will do everything to get the custody.

On the other hand, Jesse James, just recently moved down from the link he had with ‘L.A. Ink’ star Kat Von D. James clarifies that, aside from moving on from his divorce with ex-wife Sandra Bullock, he is also moving on with the cheating scandal he got into that was the reason for his divorce with ex-wife.

According to a source, James is now having the “realization that it’s going to take a lot longer and a lot more than he thought to bring things back to what they were.”

Chelsea Handler Saddling Up for 2010 MTV Video Music Awards

Celebrities have been given a reasonable warning. It has been reported that Chelsea Handler, a sarcastic, sassy and talkative comedian, was chosen to be the host of this year’s MTV Video Music Award.

The 2010 MTV Video Music Awards will be aired live from the Nokia Theatre at Los Angeles on September 12 at 9 in the evening. With Chelsea as the main host of the event, it is expected that the show will get a little rare for a Video Music Awards.

Handler is best known for her exploits on her outrageous and not-so offensive late-night show Chelsea Lately. She was also known to be a best-selling author of despicably brutal books and totally funny and honest books. However, sources say that Handler will not do her thing on the VMA night.

The comedian will also be making history in the MTV Awards. She will be listed as the very first woman that will host solo in the MTV Awards. She will be the second woman who will be hosting since 1994 after Roseanne Barr. With Barr’s time, the host had a partner not like Handler that will handle the show on her own.

Handler will be joined with performances by popular artists like Kanye West, Florence and the Machine, B.O.B., and of course Justin Bieber. Presenters for the awards night include Kesha and Ne-yo. Other performers and presenters will be added on the list.

Who would dare question Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart on their domination for the Celebrity King and Queen for Summer 2010? E! Online conducted a poll that lined up 32 celebrities to battle it out for the titles.

Robsten undeniably dominated the voting as Rob garnered 68.7 percent against his nearest competitor Robert Downey Jr. who got 31.3 percent. Likewise, Kristen Stewart topped the female celebrities with 61.6 percent with Katy Perry coming in second with 38.4 percent.

Entertainment Weekly also has asked viewers, through an online poll weeks ago, who is hotter, Ian Somerhalder or Robert Pattinson. There is still three days left before the final counting of polls, but so far, Robert Pattinson holds a slight lead of 51 percent. Robert Pattinson plays the role of Edward Cullen in Twilight, and his portrayal as a sexy vampire oozing with sex appeal will almost certainly win him the title in this poll which is called the “Ultimate Sexy Beast”.

Ian Somerhalder, on the other hand, plays the role of Damon Salvatore, from the Vampire Diaries. Truly, it is vampire versus vampire. Now that Robert Pattinson has a slight lead over Ian Somerhalder, it seems initially that it will be a very close race. However, even Ian said that in the end, Robert will kick his butt, and that he is just grateful that he is a part of the poll.

Sure enough, the popularity of Twilight will definitely help Robert up the polls eventually, and worldwide, the Pattinson guy is certainly more popular than Ian. Twilight is so popular, in fact, that even the parody that was made after the movie, called Vampires Suck, has become very popular as well. In fact, this movie, even before it was released, has already been downloaded over 100,000 times.

The 2009 MTV Video Music Awards was controversial as Kanye West made his comment upon Taylor Swift winning an award. It was remembered that the rapper voiced out his opinion that Beyonce Knowles should have won the award instead of Taylor Swift.

But rapper Kanye West apologized to the dubbed country singer Taylor Swift on the social networking site Twitter.

The issue that should only be dealt with easily was seen by the public as a race issue. According to West, his comment did not speak for all the blacks. It was just his personal comment as one from the music industry. In a series of tweet messages, West spoke about the conflict and how it spread widely and badly in the media and also in his personal life. West expressed, “Why was it made into such a race issue.? I love country music, and Taylor on the one hand, loves rap.”

Kanye West on one of his tweets, “I wish I could talk to every hater face-to-face and change their opinion of me on one conversation at a time.” The rapper added, “I want to win their hearts back so I can continue to bring my take on culture to the masses with a clean opinion.”

He ended his series of tweets with, “I’m sorry Taylor.” With this message, Kanye believes that the issues which started from the MTV Video Music Awards will soon disappear and will give him, Taylor Swift, and the public peace.

A British company confirmed this news as they will be cooperating with Jolie’s new career path. GK Films, the British company, verified the writing, directing and producing the period drama.

The film will be revolving on a Serbian man and a Bosnian woman that will meet at the eve of the Bosnian war. They will be “fighting against the world” to make their love stay despite the crisis of war.

The stars that will be included in the Jolie film will be the stars from Yugoslavia. Fans should not be expecting a role for Brad Pitt in the film.

In an interview, Jolie explained, “I would like to involve as many local people as possible and learn as much as I can.”

The Salt lead star will do a humanitarian approach on the film. This approach was criticized to have some mark of political feature considering that she’s a humanitarian. Jolie affirms that the film will be a romantic love story not a political one.
