Denver Nuggets’ Carmelo Anthony Weds MTV VJ LaLa

Carmelo Anthony Lala Vasquez Wedding So it’s June and everybody wants to be a June bride! So it goes for Carmelo Anthony’s bride!

Tons of Hollywood couples decided to exchanged ‘I Do’s’ last weekend. Next on our list is Denver Nuggets’ small forward player Carmelo Anthony and long-time fiancée Alani “Lala” Vazquez. They tied the knot last Saturday at a plush Manhattan resto called The Cipriani Restaurant. The two have been engaged since 2004, wow that’s like 6 years ago! They have a son 3 year old Kiyan Carmelo Anthony who walked them down the aisle as a ring bearer, according to reporters.

The ceremony was filled with NBA and Hollywood stars; Spike Lee, LeBron James, Serena Williams, Ludacris, Kelly Rowland, Ciara, Amare Stoudemire, Kim Kardashian and husband Lamar Odom. LaLa wore a Vera Wang gown surrounded by old and new diamonds. The restaurant was filled with marble columns; the tables were wrapped with red table cloths and accentuated by red Ecuadorian shoes that served as the centerpiece. The restaurant was filled with hanging red roses and red candles too.

Their wedding invitation was also in style as it was designed by Lehr and Black, “which were red and gold decorated with Swarovski crystals and placed in a black box with their initials.” How cute is that? It looks like Carmelo saved 5 years of his salary to give LaLa her dream wedding. Well, it’s worth it for the bride of his dreams, we presume! Good luck you two!
