Ashley Tisdale Reprising Sharpay Evans

Ashley Tisdale will once again be ‘Sharpay Evans’ in a new spin off film franchise, called ‘Sharpay’s Fabulous Adventure’.
The movie is set to be filmed this summer and to be released next year. Ashley will return to Disney channel for the film, the actress is also set to be the executive producer of the movie and the only returning original member of the ‘High School Musical’ cast.

The plot of the movie focuses on Sharpay and her dog Boi making their way from fictional school East High to Broadway after being spotted by talent scouts, while she is trying to make her way to stardom as a theatre star, then she will meet her rival starlet.

Chief creative officer of Disney Channels Worldwide, Gary Marsh said: ‘In Sharpay, Ashley Tisdale brought to life one of the most memorable comedic characters we’ve seen in years. This movie captures the absolutely perfect next chapter in Sharpay’s life, as she tries to cultivate the humanity buried, deep, deep within her – a challenging and hilarious endeavour.’
