Angelina Jolie Rewarding Experience in Pakistan Trip

Angelina Jolie Pakistan TripGoodwill ambassador for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees Angelina Jolie flew to Pakistan yesterday to visit the victims of the recent deluge in the area. She wore a long black robe and a headscarf embellished with a thin red stripe.

Jolie will stay there for 2 days so she can help the victims of the worst natural disaster in Pakistan and to raise awareness and international aid for the hopeless citizens of the country, according to authorities. Jolie immediately went to work – she talked to mothers who lost their children and an elderly couple who lost their home.



Jolie is hoping to gather enough donations when she comes back, the country lost 1,700 of its people and 17 million are deeply affected. “I am very moved by them and I hope that I am able to, today and tomorrow, be able to do something to help bring attention to the situation for all of the people in need in Pakistan,” she told the reporters at a refugee camp on Jalozai. As of the moment U.N. has received $294 million for the emergency funds they asked from the international community, but they need $460 million to help fix Pakistan.
