The report suggests the new iPad will feature a screen size similar to the current 10.5-inch iPad Pro but will be smaller in terms of physical dimensions, thanks to the slimmer bezels. An Apple spokeswoman declined to comment.
The iPad had been Apple's second-largest product line as recently as 2015.
Now the iPad may be having something of a comeback. According to Bloomberg: "The Cupertino, California-based company reported last week that iPad revenue rose 14 percent to $4.8 billion in the fiscal fourth quarter, with an 11 percent increase in the number of units sold". Now such a framework can be seen only in iPad Pro 10.5-inch version. Apple's Mac Pro, a standalone desktop without a monitor, might not have Face ID compatibility, but most Mac models with attached screens would be ideal Face ID companions. A Samsung Display operation executive told Bloomberg that the South Korean tech firm has the ability to mass produce OLED screens for iPad models in 2018.
Mariah Carey Accused of Racism & Sexual Harassment by Security Guard
That Mariah Carey is not the head of the most pleasant in the world, with its employees, it does not seem too hard to imagine. In the draft lawsuit, which is yet to be filed, he also included the charge of sexual harassment by the songstress.
This new iPad is expected to launch later in 2018.
That being said, it remains to be seen whether the future iPad will have the notch on the display just like the iPhone X. Though the report claims the iPad will not have the OLED screen that was used in the anniversary special iPhone.
Apple's new iPad is likely to feature Face Recognition and many other characteristics of the new iPhone X. The company tries to redesign their upcoming iPad, removing its home button to implement the new Face ID system.
To make sure the new iPad comes with enough changes to make it interesting, we hear that Apple also plans to give it a new processor and an updated graphics adapter, next to an updated Apple Pencil stylus and new software tools for it.
