At 48-years-old, Moira O'Deorain is one of the oldest members of the Overwatch roster and hails from Dublin, Ireland. One of the first things that the company made a decision to unveil was not only a new Overwatch map and animated short, but they showed off a new hero as well.
The debut trailer for Moira reveals some of her backstory-including her ties to Talon as a geneticist-and unique skills that distinguish her from other characters.
Moira is the latest hero, and she'll both the opposition away with shadow while she heals her allies.
"Moira" is the new support healer on her way to Overwatch, offering a mix of damage-dealing and healing abilities.
She then also has basic abilities: Biotic Orb can either heal allies or damage enemies as it bounces around teh map, and Fade gives her the ability to teleport a short distance instantly. Her right hand fires a long-range beam weapon that saps enemies' health, healing Moira and replenishing her biotic energy.
Dolphins send Ajayi to Eagles for draft pick
A change of scenery and a move to a more unique offense instead of the vanilla one the Dolphins run should prove huge for Ajayi . Former Oregon running back LeGarrette Blount leads the Eagles backfield with 467 yards on 100 carries so far this season.
On top of Moira's announcement, we get another real treat, in the form of "Honor and Glory, " a brand new animated short starring Reinhardt, and showing a glimpse on his past.
Creative director Jeff Kaplan described the character something of a hybrid character, which is unusual for Overwatch.
Finally, her ultimate ability is named Coalescence, and sees Moira combine both her healing and damage talents, channelling a long-range beam that bypasses all barriers and works with or against anybody it comes across.
In addition to a new hero, Overwatch will also be receiving a new map featuring a theme park based on different Blizzard properties.
