Activision announced the news today that the award winning Call of Duty: Modern Warfare will be out again on June 27 for the PlayStation 4 with the Xbox One and PC versions to come out in the near future. It's coming to PlayStation 4 first because of the marketing agreement and should come to Xbox One a month later. The hope, of course, is that the wait between the PS4 version and the other two won't be that long, but with Activision unwilling to talk release dates just yet, we aren't left feeling very encouraged.

To celebrate the announcement, a new trailer was released.

Additionally, the Legacy Edition can be purchased for about $60-$70 at GameStop brand new for the sale price of $51 at Amazon at the time of posting this article. First off, this is only the first game, there is no Modern Warfare 2 Remaster. As for what the game includes, you will find the campaign and a total of 16 player maps. This includes all of the missions including All Ghillied Up, Charlie Don't Surf and Crew Expendable.

It's taken Activision more than eight moths to release a standalone version of Modern Warfare Remastered, but as the old adage goes, better late than never.
