Family affair: Lakers grab Lonzo Ball with 2nd overall pick

One of, if not the biggest trade, has been the trade between the Boston Celtics and the Philadelphia 76ers. According to Steve Kyler of Basketball Insiders, the Lakers are still undecided on whether or not they're choosing Lonzo Ball tonight.

There was a lot of speculation about Ball going to the Lakers and now it has happened.

Ball spoke on ESPN prior to the draft, where he once again asserted that he had spoken into existence his son Lonzo being a Laker, which is exceedingly likely to happen at No. 2 overall. Today, Foot Locker released their latest 2017 Draft Day commercial that includes Lonzo Ball, De'Aaron Fox, Jayson Tatum, Jonathan Isaac and Malik Monk as they get interviewed by their kids crew. With UCLA last season, Ball had a standout year as a freshman, averaging 14.6 points, 7.6 assists, 6.0 rebounds and 1.8 steals while shooting 41.2 percent from three and 55.1 percent from the field. The Lakers brought in each of the four in for individual workouts, including Ball.
