McCain says his confusing questions resulted from tiredness

In one of the unexpected moments of the day, Comey essentially took credit for Mueller being on the case.

Lynch was out of line to tell him not to call it an investigation when that is clearly what it was, and the fact that this happened after she met with Bill Clinton on the tarmac makes the appearance of impropriety more obvious.

"2016 is over. now what we are talking about is the sitting president of the United States and whether the administration took an action to fire the FBI director in a historic way because of a desire to take the pressure off the Russian Federation investigation".

"I think it's hard to reconcile, in one case you reach a complete conclusion, and on the other side you have not", McCain said.

She tweeted that the first time Comey's memos were reported on was May 16, after Trump's May 12 tweet that Comey should hope there are "no tapes" of their prior conversations. But of course, there's the possibility that this is not simply going to be a he-said, he-said.

"I'm a little confused, Senator", was Comey's response.

But McCain wasn't done.

Undeterred, McCain continued to press Comey on the Clinton campaign.

FDA calls for removing abused opioid drug from market
Opana ER (oxymorphone hydrochloride) was first approved by the FDA in 2006 for use by people with moderate or severe chronic pain. The FDA intends to continue issuing warnings and informing the public about the risks of Opana use in the meantime.

The president claims he wasn't demanding that Comey stop the investigation, but Comey disagreed. "Are you aware of anything that would lead you to believe that information exists that could coerce members of the administration or blackmail the administration?" John McCain, his questioning of Comey provided compelling evidence that the senator from Arizona is suffering from dementia.

I think Comey is right here.

Comey said Trump fired him on May 9 because of the FBI's investigation into possible collusion past year between the Trump campaign and Russian officials who sought to push the election Trump's way through hacking and fake news.

McCain later issued a statement saying he was exhausted when he questioned Comey. At the same time, he faulted Clinton for being "extremely careless" in the use of her private email and server. "And I said, 'Why would I do that?' And she said, 'Just call it a matter'". McCain is running out of Muslim countries he wants us to attack, tomorrow he might urge us to got to war against Canada. He wrote in a May 26 column for The Observer that, according to multiple "firsthand accounts", Rogers recently told NSA staffers "that President Trump asked him to discredit the Federal Bureau of Investigation and James Comey, which the admiral flatly refused to do".

McCain also attempted to clarify his comments to reporters after the hearing, according to ThinkProgress. "And at the same time, the investigation continues to go on concerning President Trump and his people".

"I took it as a direction", Comey told the committee.

McCain, who can alternate between gruff and self-deprecating, afterward made light of the mess.

"I get the sense from Twitter that my line of questioning today went over people's heads".
