Kasper Dolberg has stressed that he does not see his future anywhere else but Ajax for the time being, vowing to continue improving over the next year.

"There was nothing going on until the last minute of the first half, when everything went wrong". Although Peter Bosz's men charmed football fans with their thrilling display last week against Lyon and were hailed as a great club once again, there remained a cynicism around the Dutch capital that the job was not finished yet.

He said the group "terrorizes" sponsors, "threatens people behinds the scenes" and "pays people to say things". He offered no criticism of his former employer, saying that he had "20 good years at FNC".

The Dutch club will contest a European club competition decider for the first time in 21 years with a team assembled for an estimated 22 million euros ($24 million) - a sum dwarfed by the world record 105 million euros United paid for the French global midfielder. "I'm glad it became United" Bosz said.

"A final play is nice, but finals you play to win", he added.

Bosz admitted: "We do not want to relive the same thing as Schalke in the quarter-finals - we want to play our own, high-pressing game". We need to be strong as a group to qualify.

It was made even more intense when Ajax centre back Nick Viergever was shown a second yellow card and sent off in the 84th minute. "We weren't serious enough or good enough defensively in the first leg". The talismanic striker was absent in the first-leg of the tie and could be a sore miss, if he was to be unavailable for the second leg as well.
