The NCAA Championships are consistently littered with All-Americans from the region, which has produced several national champions - including Olympic gold medalist Kurt Angle. INDIANAPOLIS - The NCAA announced Tuesday afternoon that the city of Pittsburgh has been awarded the 2019 Division I NCAA Wrestling Championships. Additionally, OSU was selected as an NCAA cross country regional host in 2019. The Mountaineers are the most successful rifle team in NCAA history, winning 19 titles in their history, including the last five straight.

Lindenwood becomes a destination for six national championships in 2020 - men's and women's tennis, men's and women's golf, lacrosse and softball.

With Marquette as host, Bradley Center was the venue for the first and second rounds of the NCAA Tournament this past season. It last held the championship in 2006.

The sites were selected by the Division I Men's Ice Hockey Committee, which is made up of coaches and administrators from NCAA member schools and conferences, and approved by the appropriate divisional championships cabinets/committees.
