Trump line of home items removed from Kmart, Sears

On Saturday a spokesperson for Sears Holdings Corporation said the two chains would no longer sell Trump Home items in their online stores.

"As part of the company's initiative to optimize its online product assortment, we constantly refine that assortment too focused on our most profitable items", Sears told Business Insider.

Fashion news site Racked.com has reported that Neiman Marcus, Belk, HSN and ShopStyle have dropped Ivanka Trump merchandise.

The "Grab Your Wallet" campaign is a grassroots effort to boycott Trump items and the places that sell them.

Items from Trump Home, which is part of the Trump Organization, were reportedly not available on both websites and did not appear in a search of either website as of Friday.

Yet another retailer has dropped Trump-branded merchandise.

Sears did not immediately respond to CNNMoney's requests for comment on Sunday.

Now it just needs U.S. president Donald Trump to respond with a Twitter attack-and the beleaguered U.S. retailer could hope for a bump in its share price.

Unlike Nordstrom, Sears Holdings didn't say explicitly whether the decision had to do with a lack of customer interest in Trump-branded products.

Neither Kmart nor Sears has carried Trump Home in brick-and-mortar stores. "We've had a great relationship with the Ivanka Trump team".
